WOW. Watch how Earth's response to this latest solar storm has flipped on light a light switch. Soon after the storm's magnetic field turned southward, aurora began to build, but so did the risk for radio signal "turbulence" at high latitudes. This is seen in the purple "turbulence zone" patches on the GEOCHRON. These ROTI patches are where radio signals from actual satellites are finding rough skies right now-- and they are growing fast near the auroral zone.
