Chicago’s latest teen takeover ended in violence yet again.
Teenagers were among 7 people injured in 2 separate shootings on the city’s West Side. Just over a mile away, a man was found shot to death.
Just two weeks ago, the Chicago City Council voted against imposing $1,000 fines on parents for teen takeovers. Mayor Brandon Johnson argued that criminalization is harmful.
