The Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited over 120 high school students from Africa to participate in exchanges with Japanese youth as part of a project to cultivate the next generation of "Japanophiles" who understand Japanese society.
The "Africa Youth Program," which promotes mutual understanding between Japanese and African youth, is one of the youth exchange programs announced by the government at the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) held last August, and was held for the first time this year.
A total of 124 high school students from five countries -Cameroon, Ghana, CΓ΄te d'Ivoire, Kenya, and Mozambique-visited Japan for 10 days from the end of June, participating in homestays in regional cities and company visits.

BREAKING: Lawmakers could drop a new version of Crypto Market Structure Bill by next week.
But there's still one major concern.
"Ethics Agreement," which restricts government officials from profiting off crypto.
If this issue is resolved, the Clarity Act could reach the Senate floor as soon as July 20th.

LThe UN has become a symbol of a larger problem: the tendency to explain every difference in outcome as oppression rather than examining choices, interests, skills, and personal responsibility. Typical female behavior.
Women today have access to scholarships, quotas, hiring initiatives,
DEI programs, mentorship pipelines, grants, and countless opportunities designed to increase participation in fields like AI and technology.
So if women are not entering certain fields at the same rates as men, the conversation cannot automatically be that they are being excluded or oppressed.
Access is not the same thing as interest, and opportunity is not the same thing as outcome.
If someone wants to enter AI, engineering, or any competitive field, the path is the same for everyone: learn the skills, put in the work, and compete. No group should be blamed for another groupβs choices or interests.
Maybe AI is proving DEI doesn't work. You can give women every advantage possible, but you can't force interest, skill, or outcome.
this isn't patriarchy. It's accountability. Not every gap in outcomes is proof of discrimination, and not every difference requires someone to be blamed.
