A maritime footbridge in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, collapsed, and 17 fishermen were once isolated and rescued. Fortunately, there were no passengers passing on the bridge, so no casualties occurred.
According to the fire authorities on the 28th, the middle bridge and the upper plate section of the Boritdol Bridge in Janggil-ri, Guryongpo-eup, Nam-gu, Pohang City collapsed at around 1:15 p.m.
17 fishermen who visited the rock near the Boritdolgyo Observatory were isolated in the accident, but were rescued by dispatched fire authorities and private fishing boats.

The Hart Mine Road Bridge, located near the Cibola Wildlife Refuge on the Arizona-California border, collapsed today following structural damage believed to have been caused by a recent fire. Portions of the bridge are in the water. No injuries have been reported.

A second massive landslide and road collapse occurred along the Davao–Bukidnon Highway on Monday evening, July 27, striking Purok 12 Falls in Barangay Buda, Marilog District, Davao City.
The incident happened at around 7:00 p.m. at a site roughly eight kilometers from the earlier massive road slip reported in Sitio Marahan, Barangay Marilog Proper.

A newly constructed and recently inaugurated bridge over the Tons River in Dehradun was damaged following an overnight rain.
A portion of the bridge approach road between Prem Nagar and Nanda Ki Chowki on the Dehradun- Paonta Sahib Highway opened a giant crater on Tuesday.

A stretch of National Highway 61 running through Malshej Ghat has been shut for all vehicles with immediate effect, after part of the road gave way near Karanjale village in Junnar taluka, forcing the Highway Safety Patrol to order a complete closure until further notice.
The subsidence was spotted on the Ahilyanagar–Kalyan stretch of NH-61, between km 99/500 and 99/600, close to Karanjale. According to officials, the ground beneath the road sank, tearing open large cracks across the concrete surface and pulling down a 50 to 100 metre section of the highway.

Hoover Dam has been temporarily closed to all public access due to unexpected emergency equipment and roadway repairs.
The closure was first announced on Monday, and includes a complete shutdown of both visitor and public roadway access.
What exactly needs to be done wasn’t specified.
Officials from the Bureau of Reclamation confirmed that the dam and power plant are not at risk, but the exact reopening date remains unknown.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama
An evacuation order remains in place Tues dt a gas leak that happened Mon night in downtown Birmingham.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue says there are still unsafe air monitoring readings from the storm drains in the area of 23rd St S bw 1st Ave S and 5th Ave S.
The source of the release remains unknown; however, it is suspected that an unregistered underground tank may be the cause. Crews continue to vent the area to reduce the hazard.
The City of Birmingham, Jefferson County EMA, and state partners continue working to identify the source of the fuel leak, render it safe, clean up any impacted areas, and return the affected area to normal.

A fire on the L1 metro catenary in Barcelona forced the evacuation of the Clot & Glòries stations Mon afternoon.
Traffic was restored on Tues, according to TMB, which announced that the service had started normally from early in the morning.
Regarding the cause of the fire, the CEO of TMB, Xavier Flores, explained that for now they believe it is dt a tunnel lining that fell and burned.
Technicians are now investigating whether the tunnel lining blanket burned and fell or if it fell and started to burn upon contact with the catenary.
Among the people assessed by paramedics, 129 had minor injuries and 7 were in a less serious condition. In total, 39 injured people have been transferred to different hospitals and CUAPs in the city.
The fire has now been extinguished and the tunnel has been ventilated.
