An NV Energy power outage in the area of Durango Dr and Warm Springs Rd affected nearly 2,600 customers Saturday evening, according to the utility’s outage map.
The outage was first reported at 6:30 p.m. NV Energy attributed the disruption to an underground equipment failure.
Power has since been fully restored. At its peak, NV Energy’s outage map showed 2,596 customers affected.

The Moosic Borough PD said it began receiving multiple 911 calls, along with calls to the police station, at about 8 p.m. Friday from residents reporting what they described as a large explosion.
Officers, along with firefighters from Station 98 and surrounding EMS agencies, conducted an extensive search of the borough but were unable to locate the source of the reported blast.
Police also contacted the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, which confirmed there was no aircraft activity in the area that would have caused a sonic boom.
Authorities said they have not received any reports of property damage, fires or power outages connected to the incident.
At this time, police say the cause of the reported explosion remains unknown, and there is no known threat to the public.
