GLENPOOL, Oklahoma A lightning strike caused a fire at the Explorer Pipeline tank farm in Glenpool Monday morning, according to the company. Explorer Pipeline said lightning struck a tank at the facility, resulting in a fire. Local firefighters and emergency response teams have secured the site, with additional fire response resources on the way. 2 tanks remain on fire, and the Glenpool FD is working to prevent the fire from spreading to other tanks. No injuries have been reported. Surrounding businesses and residences have been evacuated as a precaution. The Glenpool Church of Christ is being used as an evacuation location.
