Bruce Willis’ family prepares for his final farewell and plans to donate his brain to science.
Bruce Willis’ family plans to donate his brain to science after his passing to help advance research into frontotemporal dementia (FTD). His wife, Emma Heming Willis, revealed the decision in her book, with support from Demi Moore and his daughters.
With no cure currently available for FTD, donated brain tissue can help researchers study the disease’s protein mutations and cellular changes. The family has also launched a fund to support FTD research and caregivers.
