Is Rubio in Moscow?

The U.S. landed a C-17 Globemaster III transport plane at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport today.

Kremlin spox. Dmitry Peskov has since DENIED he has any info on the plane...

Unconfirmed reports indicate the mission may be connected to an upcoming trip by Sec. Hegseth.

While the C-17 is often used to move personnel, vehicles, and equipment ahead of senior-level travel, it’s also used as transportation for Hegseth on sensitive or unannounced missions.

The plane had flown ​direct from Riga, Latvia, and ​landed in Moscow at around 0700 ⁠GMT.

It arrived in Riga on Friday from Joint Base Andrews, near Washington, D.C.

It is unclear whether it ​carried any cargo or passengers.

The last direct flight of a U.S.-registered ⁠jet to Russia from Europe took place in January of this year, carrying special envoys Witkoff and Kushner.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe was onboard the U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster lll that landed early Tuesday at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport, in order to attend several high-level meetings with Russian officials, according to CBS News

A U.S. Air Force Boeing C-17 Globemaster III aircraft has taken off from Vnukovo Airport.

It is currently unknown whether CIA Director John Ratcliffe is on board.
