Union Pacific said about 30 cars derailed just before 2 p.m. Tuesday near Santa Rosa golf course, and investigators still have not determined what caused it.

“At on Tuesday, approximately 30 Union Pacific rail cars derailed about two miles east of Santa Rosa, New Mexico. The train crew was not injured. The incident is under investigation.”

On Tuesday, in the 1551 Depot Road area, outside New South Lumber Company, a train derailed.
WMBF went to the scene and said minor traffic blockages for drivers looking to cross Depot Road.
A witness, Johnny Bridges, told WMBF the ground shook and “it was pretty bad.”

According to a post from the Putnam Co Sheriff's Office, a sinkhole formed on a road near the sheriff’s dept.
The area wasn’t very well lit, and a motorcyclist plunged right into the sinkhole.
The post indicated that the motorcyclist was okay.
“The motorcyclist could not see it before it was too late, diving straight down into the hole,” the post said. “Thankfully he wasn’t going very fast.”

A massive section of the service road on the Delhi-Jaipur highway near IFFCO Chowk caved in on Tuesday afternoon, prompting authorities to shut the stretch to traffic after a crater nearly 10ft wide and 15ft deep opened up.
According to GMDA executive engineer Bhim Arya, a major sewer line of GMDA runs beneath the service road and its damage caused the road to sink.

Crews were called to the city’s Parkview Hills neighbourhood, near O’Connor Drive and St. Clair Avenue East, Monday for reports that a watermain had broken.
Several road closures were put into effect as crews worked to shut down the affected valves.
However, at one point a vehicle drove over a stretch of roadway that had been “undermined” by the watermain break and “broke through the asphalt.”

A sinkhole in the roadway has caused a temporary road closure just north of the Ogden Airport.
According to UDOT, eastbound traffic on Hinckley Dr at 1900 West is closed temporarily, but the WB lanes of Hinckley Dr are still open.
Ogden PD said that the sinkhole is located near 1400 West on Hinckley Dr.

Zion Canyon shuttles are not traveling past The Grotto, stop No. 6, until further notice. Park officials say access from the Big Bend shuttle stop to the end of the scenic drive was paused around 12:20 p.m as crews assessed the area and clear debris.
No traffic is allowed past the closure.

BLOOMINGTON, Illinois
8 people were taken to the hospital early Wed after an apparent house explosion.
It happened just before midnight at a home along Old Peoria Ct, just east of Rivian Motorway and near an OSF PromptCare.
The house was burned to the ground in the explosion and resulting fire, according to a WGLT reporter at the scene.
The extent of the 8 people’s injuries was not immediately known, Rosecrans said. There were no deceased victims at the scene.
The State Fire Marshal was on scene to investigate. Nicor crews were also on scene Wed morning.
At around 7:45 a.m, a “very unusual” burning flame was still peeking out from the rubble of the destroyed home, Rosecrans said.
It’s not being fueled by Nicor gas, which has been shut off, so it’s possibly some type of methane that’s being piped into the house, he said.
Crews were still trying to figure out what it was.
