Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Tuesday that there's "a real lack of transparency as to what these data centers and what these technology companies are actually doing."

She raised concerns about what she said are surveillance systems "being established to track every American, and I think that also requires a lot of data."

"I think Americans deserve to know what this infrastructure, in specificity, is being used by and for," she said.
