🇷🇺 A Russian man reportedly tried to fill hidden containers inside his car with gasoline, but the vehicle suddenly caught fire instead.

Station staff and bystanders put out the fire and moved the vehicle away from the pumps. No casualties were reported. The incident came as Russia faces a nationwide gasoline shortage. Authorities in many regions have capped how much fuel can be sold per vehicle and banned filling jerry cans, after long queues formed at stations.

🇦🇺 Australia. Two men have been seriously injured after an attempted arson attack on a Tobacconist in Melbourne. Footage shows a large explosion as the men try and light the fuel, one man becomes fully engulfed by the flames.

A 23-year-old man suffered catastrophic burns. Witnesses described him screaming on the ground and pulling off his burning clothes. Large areas of skin were missing from his legs and hands. He fell out of the fleeing pickup truck while still on fire and was left behind. A Good Samaritan found him nearby, and he was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital in critical condition.

An American Airlines flight was diverted to Baltimore following an incident involving a passenger.

The man allegedly used the N-word toward a flight attendant & became violent, hitting another passenger and pushing a woman who tried to help.

Passengers helped restrain him with duct tape and zip ties before the flight was diverted to Baltimore, where he was taken into custody.
