Showed this contraption multiple times in the movie then showed what was Underneath It - alluding to what’s under The Towers we watch everyday

Looks mighty similar to the Klystron Accelerator that they attach to all The Towers to amplify frequencies

They Generated & Charged a Super Cell over two towers in South Dakota then drew all that energy into the Iowa Tower where the Super Cell properly disappeared / was absorbed
