🇵🇱 One killed, about 20 injured (4 of them seriously) as passenger train hits cement truck and derails in central Poland.

A PKP Intercity passenger train traveling from Lublin to Szczecin with about 120 people aboard collided with a concrete-mixer truck. The locomotive and six carriages derailed, with parts of the train overturning.

Emergency services (eight ambulances, two rescue helicopters) worked the scene; all those aboard were freed from the train, and firefighters had to extract the truck driver, who was trapped in his cab. The cause here appears to center on the truck entering the crossing; the investigation will establish how and why.
