On the evening of September 10 and into the night of September 11, a severe thunderstorm swept through parts of the Caazapa and Itapúa departments in southern Paraguay. The most severe impacts were reported in Yuti, Fulgencio Yegros, Moisés Bertoni, and Leandro Oviedo in Caazapa, as well as Carlos Antonio López, Mayor Otaño, and Alto Vera in Itapúa.
These areas were struck by large hail and strong winds. Hailstones damaged and pierced sheet metal and tile roofs, and damaged residential buildings and other structures. In rural areas, severe damage was caused to crops and vegetable gardens, and damage to vehicles was also reported. Fallen branches on power and communication lines caused temporary outages. Rainfall of 40–60 mm and wind gusts up to 90 km/h were forecast in Itapua. Local authorities have begun assessing the damage and providing assistance to the victims.

Tanah Rata, Malaysia

A flash flood occurred in the town of Tanah Rata (Cameron Highlands district) following a three-hour downpour. The flooding affected the Golden Hills residential complex and the MARDI Agrotechnology Park. There were no injuries, though water damaged furniture in five or six homes. The flood was caused by a river overflowing its banks and clogged drainage systems; a minor landslide also occurred on Jalan Tengkolok. Additional landslides and soil erosion were reported in the region due to two days of rainfall.

Chapecó, Brazil

The city of Chapecó (Santa Catarina state) found itself at the epicenter of a powerful storm caused by an extratropical cyclone. Heavy rainfall led to widespread flooding; in several parts of the city, streets effectively turned into raging rivers. Torrents of water inundated roadways, blocked traffic, and entered dozens of private homes. Amidst the general flooding of city streets, localized infrastructure damage was also reported. Specifically, in the Pinheirinho neighborhood, walls collapsed due to soil erosion, after which a wave of mud flooded a garage and damaged 12 vehicles.

San Antonio, Texas, USA

On the evening of September 11, a severe thunderstorm struck San Antonio, Texas, bringing large hail and causing widespread power outages. Between Converse and Kirby, on the city's east side, observers recorded hail up to 1.5 inches (approximately 3.8 cm) in diameter—roughly the size of a golf ball.
At the height of the storm, more than 8,000 customers in the San Antonio area were without power, with about 4,600 of them located in the Kirby and Converse area. By 11:00 PM, the number of outages had dropped to fewer than 2,000. The severe thunderstorm warning was lifted early, around 10:55 PM, as the storm weakened.
