U.S. company Powerus has unveiled the Matrix Fold, a modular and foldable FPV drone reportedly selected for the Pentagon’s Drone Dominance program.

The 12-inch platform is designed to fold into a compact form that can reportedly fit into a backpack and be deployed within seconds. Its 3D-printed construction is intended to allow individual components to be replaced in the field, with printing files reportedly supplied for manufacturing replacement parts.

According to Powerus, the Matrix Fold has a maximum speed of 242 km/h, a payload capacity of up to 6.8 kg and an endurance of up to 35 minutes.

The system features a modular architecture compatible with the company’s Matrix 5, 7, 10 and F platforms. Tool-free maintenance and rapid payload changes are also reportedly supported.

Powerus states that the Matrix Fold is NDAA-compliant and Blue UAS certified, with its supply chain under company control.

In May 2026, the Matrix Fold was reportedly selected for the second phase of the Pentagon’s Drone Dominance program, described as having a value of approximately $1 billion. The program is intended to support the procurement of tens of thousands of low-cost, expendable drones and expand U.S. domestic production capacity.

Serial production is reportedly planned to follow the program’s next phase.

Everybody asks how fast they go.

Matrix runs 75 to 144 mph. One architecture, 4,000+ configurations, all fielded.

Guardian: 211 mph, 15 km, 28 min, 5.84 lb. Hundreds of confirmed intercepts in active theaters.

Made in USA. NDAA.

I’ll buy. It’s an American company and the sector is strong for at least two years.

All the people that think they are gonna be able to shoot down drones?

Yea, no.

These hold 2 golf courses. What's undervalued about them?
Yes — PUSA is the right ticker for Powerus right now.
PUSA is Aureus Greenway Holdings, a small Florida golf-club operator that signed a definitive merger with Autonomous Power Corporation (dba Powerus). The S-4 is already effective. After close (targeted Q4 2026 / around early October, still subject to conditions), the combined company is expected to be renamed Powerus Corporation and keep trading as PUSA. The Business Wire release in your screenshot is from that vehicle and explicitly notes the pending merger.
Powerus itself is still private. Buying PUSA today is buying the public shell plus the merger claim on Powerus, not a completed Powerus listing.
What Powerus actually is
Powerus builds U.S.-made FPV/attack drones (Matrix series) and counter-UAS interceptors (Guardian family). Recent items that are real, not just PR:
• Named as one of 21 industry participants in DoW/NORTHCOM Falcon Peak 26.2 (counter-small UAS experiment at Yuma, focused on Southern Border / low-collateral defeat). Participation is not a contract award or endorsement.
• Selected to compete in Phase II of the Pentagon’s Drone Dominance program.
• ~$2.5M DoW-prime purchase order for 1,500 FPV aircraft (does not guarantee follow-on).
• USAF IDIQ for Guardian-2 with a stated ceiling up to $90M through mid-2028.
• $22.3M commercial counter-UAS deal with a private Middle East energy customer (customer unnamed).
• Unusual Machines (~$30M) investment / supply relationship.
The theme is cheap kinetic interceptors + FPV for border/installations vs. million-dollar missiles. That market is real and growing.
Is it a good stock to buy?
Speculative, high-risk, not a core holding. Reasons both ways:
Bull case
• Counter-drone + cheap attack drones is a hot DoW priority (border, installations, attritable mass).
• Multiple concrete commercial/gov touchpoints, not only one press release.
• Merger gives a Nasdaq listing without a traditional IPO.
• Tiny float / ~$93–96M market cap — news can move it hard if the merger closes cleanly and contracts convert.
Bear case / why the chart looks like that
• PUSA is still a golf-course company on the financials. TTM revenue ~$3.2M, losses, no P/E. Powerus numbers are not yet the public company’s numbers.
• Merger not closed. Dilution is large: Powerus holders are slated for ~83% of the combined company; current PUSA holders ~17%, plus earn-out shares.
• Falcon Peak is an experiment, not revenue. Many of the “wins” are ceilings, one-offs, or “compete in Phase II,” not booked multi-year programs of record.
• Micro-cap: thin volume, wide swings (52-week roughly $1.80–$8.25 on one screen, ~$2.60–$6.57 on the other). Today it sold off despite the headline.
• Execution risk: scaling U.S. drone manufacturing, winning actual production awards vs. Anduril and other better-capitalized names, integration after the reverse-merger structure.
Bottom line: If you already follow defense-tech / Golden Dome / cheap UAS names and can treat this as a small, high-volatility satellite position you can lose, PUSA is the correct ticker to express a Powerus view before the rename. It is not a proven, profitable defense prime. Position size accordingly, assume the merger and contract conversion can slip, and do not size it like Archer or a liquid mid-cap.
This is not investment advice. Check the latest S-4/424B3 for dilution, closing conditions, and Powerus financials before buying.
