A Maryland State Police intern, trooper and police officer rescued a bald eagle on the Eastern Shore.
State police said Centreville Barrack intern Jackson Roach, Trooper A. Setter and an unknown off-duty officer safely removed an injured bald eagle from westbound U.S. Route 50\301 on Wednesday.
They brought the bird back to the barrack, where the Owl Moon Raptor Center picked it up to be taken to its wildlife rehabilitation center in Boyds, Montgomery County.
