BUSHWICK: Two manholes exploded simultaneously tonight - one at Jefferson and Irving intersection, another one block away. Flames reached 20 feet. Green smoke visible.
Con Ed requested to scene to cut power. Multiple buildings reporting electrical fluctuations. FDNY using water for smoke control to prevent toxic exposure to residents.
Fire still active as of 9:09 PM. Intersection contains gas lines.
