🇸🇾 Syria (May 19) An explosive device planted inside a car detonated near the front gate of an armament management centre of the ministry of defence in Syria's capital Damascus.

A member of the Internal Security Forces was reportedly killed and four others injured.

Shortly before the explosion, gunfire was reported which indicates that security forces tried to stop the vehicle which prompted the driver to detonate before reaching his intended target - which was liked the MoD building itself (department for armaments).
