πΊπΈ Lucerne Valley, California β A 39-year-old Los Angeles woman was killed after her Tesla veered into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a big rig on May 6.
According to the California Highway Patrol, ShanShan Li was driving a Tesla Model 3 westbound on State Route 247 near Stony Ridge Road when, for reasons still under investigation, the car crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with a Kenworth T680.
Li was pronounced dead at the scene and had to be extricated from the wreckage. A passenger sustained minor injuries.

Malta woke up to a fireworks factory blast this morning near Magħtab/Naxxar.
A huge explosion around dawn sent a fireball and thick smoke into the sky, with secondary blasts rattling windows across the island. The shockwave was strong enough to be felt miles away.
Early reports say two men were taken to hospital with minor injuries and shock. No one was inside the building at the time, but the damage to surrounding homes and farmland is already being assessed.
Investigations are underway into what triggered it
