به کلماتی گفته می شود که از ترکیب حروف اول چند کلمه دیگر ساخته شده است.
مثلا:
🔸ASAP:
As Soon As Possible
به معنی "هر چه زودتر"

در ایمیل ها، برای سرعت بیشتر در نوشتن (و همینطور در پیام های کوتاه و در شبکه های اجتماعی) از این Acronym ها زیاد استفاده می شود.
