Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, along with a stated interest in interdisciplinary research, are essential.
Experience in computer programing and strong knowledge in solid mechanics and/ or fluid mechanics and/or microfluidics would be essential.
Fluency and clarity in spoken English as well as good written English in accordance with UCL English requirements (TOEFL>92 or IELTS>6.5).

الکترومغناطیس بیولوژیکی (Bio-Em) مطالعه چگونگی انتشار میدان های #مغناطیسی و اندرکنش آن با اجزای بدن انسان است. با استفاده از نرم افزار CST Studio Suite مهندسان می توانند اثرات یک وسیله را به صورت مجازی قبل از آزمایش آن در بدن یک موجود زنده بررسی کنند و به این ترتیب هزینه های مربوط به پروسه ی نمونه سازی و ایمنی بیماران حذف می شود.
هم اکنون تنها راه آنالیز توزیع میدان های پیچیده ی درون بدن استفاده از شبیه سازی مولتی فیزیک و الکترومغناطیس است تا به این ترتیب از کارایی یک دستگاه در بدن اطمینان حاصل شود و علاوه بر آن آسیب های آن شناخته و از وقوع آن در بافت ها جلوگیری شود.
این تحلیل ها در عکس برداری مایکروویو و #MRI، قراردادن یک دستگاه نظیر تنظیم کننده ضربان #قلب یا سنسور و کمک به برنامه درمانی تومورهای سرطانی بسیار کمک کننده هستند.

Introduction

Schlumberger has an opening in Sugar Land, Texas for a Modeling and Simulation Engineer. The Modeling and Simulation Engineer will be responsible for developing digital representations (or twins) of physical assets or processes to produce business outcomes. You will need to work seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team and present project progress to various internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

The candidate may work on any of the following:
• Understand the #design, #manufacturing, and #operation of the products you perform Modeling and Simulation on
• Gather project-related information through internal and external sources
• Develop high-fidelity physics-based models and their reduced-order versions
• Integrate various models developed in different software environments into a system model to enable co-simulation and accurately predict the performance and health condition of a physical asset
• Process, analyze, and infuse #sensor data into models for off-line or real-time #calibrations
• Develop data-driven models with machine learning techniques
• Develop #scripts to link different pieces of information and automate repetitive tasks
• Deliver results per defined key project milestones along with team members and collaborators
• Present project progress updates to stakeholders and management
• Develop domain expertise and share knowledge with peers and the engineering community

Qualifications & Experience

• Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Mechanics, with a specialty in Applied Mechanics; a minor degree or substantial training through MOOC in data science and machine learning is preferred.
• Fresh-out graduates or experienced professionals are welcome to apply. Experience in the #Oil & #Gas #industry is a plus.
• Extensive experience in system modeling (reduced-order modeling, model integration, and co-simulation), scientific programming (C/C++, #Python, #Modelica), and functional mockup unit generation is essential.
• Solid knowledge of #Ansys or #ABAQUS is a must. Experience in other commercial codes for Computational Mechanics is a plus.
• Knowledge of data science, statistical analysis, machine learning, and cloud computing is highly desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Autonomous and creative approach towards challenging problems.
• Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US.
