Close to 200k $BNSG minted by users by burning $BNS or $BNSD

A lot of the users have requested to get to activate a way for them to be able mint bnsg from bitbns itself before the proposal voting starts.

So we are working on adding that first. Ideally more people voting would give the actual picture.

Post that the first proposal around rewards change would go live.

Already around 2% of BNSG already has gotten minted by users. We expect about 5% + with the addition of option on bitbns for users to convert to BNSG.

Genesis mint for $BNSG would be done in an hour 🙌
5 million $BNS would be burnt for it. That's more than 225K USD worth of $BNS 🔥

These $BNSG would be airdropped to participants on ascent over time and 15% of BNSG can be bought from BNSG sale that would happen on ascent. This would familiarise users to ascent, give them a chance to get BNSG of they don't have BNS or BNSD through the sale.

We would be pausing the mint function for a few hours. We are upgrading the bnsg contract with a V2 to add some additional capabilities. New mints would occur from V2 contract

Users would get to know a couple of the new functionalities when a video comes out with an influencer tomorrow. 😄

There seems to be chainsplit that has occured on ethereum network (not yet confirmed). Eth and erc20 deposits and withdrawals are paused till we ascertain things are back to normal

2 steps
1. Mint your bnsg from bitbns or via https://launchonascent.com/#/governance
2. Delegate it to your own address of you want to vote yourself ( This is critical without this you would not be able to vote)

Please message admins or in the grp in case you have any confusion

Delegation needs to be done once. After that for any proposal it is not needed. Even if you mint new BNSG via launchonascent it would automatically get added to your voting power
