There is a lot of doom and gloom about the 6-3 SCOTUS decision in Murthy v. Biden and how it impacts the 1st Amendment
I would like to quell some of those concerns
This decision reversed the injunction based on *standing*
SCOTUS said that without the plaintiffs having sufficient standing, they could not decide the case on the merits
The case is still allowed to proceed *on the merits* in lower federal courts as to whether the govโt violated the plaintiffโs 1st Amendment right to free speech on social media
Long story short, this battle for free speech rights is NOT over and SCOTUS will likely get further involved down the road

Every morning he used to have breakfast meetings at the World Trade Center but at the morning of 9/11, by the way this is according to Larry in his own interview, he just broke his own routine. He fortunately, on the morning of 9/11 had a dermatologist appointment, and that spared his life."

The strongest part of the brief is that members of the House didnโt know at the time, because Benny Thompson didnโt tell them, that under House rules Steve Bannon had never factually been legally subpoenaed!

Looks like the SCOTUS added opinion (non-argument) days to their calendar (tomorrow and Friday).
Last week it showed today as the final opinion day of the session and nothing was on the calendar after that.

Seems possible they will publish that leaked abortion opinion on Thursday and then the immunity opinion or action (I expect they'll be kicking it down to a lower court for a hearing on official acts) on Friday- which would be the day after the debate.
Gotta wonder if the debate is influencing SCOTUSโs timing on when they act regarding the immunity issue.
