As it stands, the Democrats are set to control between 54-56 seats in January 2027.
The House margin is looking to be substantial, with Democrats projected to win upward of 245 out of 435 seats.
The 'Blue Wave' today exceeded the expectation of most pundits. Polling data were off by a very large margin. For example, South Carolina was polled to be ~2% in favor of Graham (R) but the preliminary result stands at ~4% in favor of Andrews (D).
A very rough night for the Republican and the pollsters.
