തിരുവനന്തപുരം: കേരളത്തിന് ഏറെ ആശ്വാസം നല്കുന്ന ദിവസമാണിന്ന്. കോവിഡ് 19 ബാധിച്ച 36 പേര് കൂടി രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയതായി ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി കെ.കെ. ശൈലജ ടീച്ചര് അറിയിച്ചു. കാസര്ഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ 28 പേരുടേയും (കണ്ണൂര് ജില്ലയില് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്ന 2 പേര്) മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലയിലെ 6 പേരുടേയും കോഴിക്കോട്, ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലകളിലെ ഓരോരുത്തരുടേയും പരിശോധനാ ഫലമാണ് നെഗറ്റീവായത്. ഇതോടെ നിലവില് 194 പേരാണ് സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളില് ചികിത്സയിലുള്ളത്. 179 പേരാണ് ഇതുവരെ കോവിഡില് നിന്നും രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയത്.
ഇന്ന് 2 പേര്ക്കാണ് കോവിഡ് 19 സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. കണ്ണൂര്, പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലകളിലുള്ളവര്ക്കാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. കണ്ണൂര് ജില്ലയിലുള്ളയാള് ദുബായില് നിന്നും പത്തനംതിട്ടയിലുള്ളയാള് ഷാര്ജയില് നിന്നും വന്നതാണ്.
സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിലായി 1,16,941 പേര് നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. ഇവരില് 1,16,125 പേര് വീടുകളിലും 816 പേര് ആശുപത്രികളിലും നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. 176 പേരെയാണ് ഇന്ന് ആശുപത്രിയില് പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. രോഗലക്ഷണങ്ങള് ഉള്ള 14,989 വ്യക്തികളുടെ സാമ്പിള് പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതില് ലഭ്യമായ 13,802 സാമ്പിളുകളുടെ പരിശോധനാ ഫലം നെഗറ്റിവ് ആണ്.

Till date, 179 patients have totally recovered from the disease in Kerala as 194 patients are still undergoing treatment in various hospitals across the State.

കൊറോണ എന്ന മഹാമാരിയെ പിടിച്ചുകെട്ടാനുള്ള കഠിന പരിശ്രമത്തിലാണ് നമ്മൾ. ഈ വിഷുദിനത്തിൽ വലിയൊരു ആഘോഷം മാറ്റിവെച്ചുകൊണ്ട് പ്രതിരോധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലാണ് നാമെല്ലാവരും. ഐസൊലേഷൻ വാർഡിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന ജീവനക്കാർ മുതൽ പ്രതിരോധത്തിന്റെ കണ്ണികൾ ആകുന്ന വലിയൊരു ജനത വരെ. ഈ വിഷുദിനം അവർക്കുള്ളതാണ്.

അതേസമയം കോവിഡ് 19 ബാധിച്ച 13 പേര് കൂടി ഇന്ന് രോഗമുക്തി നേടി. കാസര്ഗോഡ് ജില്ലയില് നിന്നുള്ള 6 (കണ്ണൂര് ജില്ലയില് ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്ന 4 പേര്) പേരുടെയും എറണാകുളം, പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലകളില് നിന്നുള്ള 2 പേരുടെ വീതവും, കൊല്ലം, തൃശൂര്, മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലകളില് നിന്നുള്ള ഓരോരുത്തരുടെ വീതവും പരിശോധനാ ഫലമാണ് നെഗറ്റീവ് ആയത്. ഇതോടെ നിലവില് 173 പേരാണ് സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളില് ചികിത്സയിലുള്ളത്. 211 പേരാണ് ഇതുവരെ കോവിഡില് നിന്നും രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയത്.

കൊവിഡ് ലോക്ഡൗൺ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ 267 യുകെ പൗരന്മാരുമായി ആദ്യ വിമാനം സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് നിന്നും ലണ്ടനിലേക്ക് യാത്രയായി. ഇന്നലെ വൈകീട്ട് ഏഴരയോടെയാണ് ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് എയർവേയ്സിന്റെ ചാർട്ടേർഡ് വിമാനം തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് നിന്ന് 110 യാത്രക്കാരുമായി പറന്നുയർന്നത്. കൊച്ചിയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള 157 യാത്രക്കാരെയും കയറ്റിയാണ് വിമാനം ലണ്ടനിലേക്ക് യാത്രയായത്. ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പൗരന്മാരെ കൂടാതെ ഓസ്ട്രിയ, കാനഡ, പോർച്ചുഗൽ, അയർലാന്റ്, ലിത്വേനിയ എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലെ ഏതാനും പൗരന്മാരും സംഘത്തിലുണ്ട്.
കൊവിഡ് - 19 പോസറ്റീവാണെന്നു കണ്ടെത്തി കളമശ്ശേരി മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലെ ചികിത്സയിലൂടെ സുഖം പ്രാപിച്ച ആറ് ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പൗരന്മാരും ഈ സംഘത്തിലുണ്ട്.
ബംഗളൂരിലെ ബിട്ടീഷ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ഹൈക്കമ്മീഷനിലെ ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി സ്ഥാനപതി ജെറമി പിലിമോർ ബെഡ്ഫോർഡ് കൊച്ചി വിമാനത്താവളത്തിലെത്തി നടപടിക്രമങ്ങൾക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നൽകി.
യുകെ പൗരന്മാരെ സ്വദേശത്തേക്ക് സുരക്ഷിതമായി അയക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചതിൽ ഏറെ ചാരിതാർത്ഥ്യമുണ്ട്. അതിഥി ദേവോ ഭവ: എന്ന സംസ്കാരം ഉയർത്തിപ്പിടിച്ചാണ് ഇവരെ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് സംരക്ഷിച്ചത്. കൊവിഡ് രോഗ ബാധിതരായ എല്ലാ വിദേശ പൗരന്മാരുടെയും ചികിത്സാചെലവുകൾ സംസ്ഥാനം നേരിട്ടാണ് വഹിച്ചത്. ലോക്ഡൗൺ കാലത്ത് വിദേശ പൗരന്മാരുടെ താമസവും ഭക്ഷണവും ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പാണ് ഏർപ്പാടു ചെയ്തത്.
കേരളത്തിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന വിദേശ ടൂറിസ്റ്റുകളുമായി മടങ്ങിയ മൂന്നാമത്തെ വിമാനമാണിത്. നേരത്തെ ജർമനിയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള 232 പേരും ഫ്രാൻസിൽ നിന്നുള്ള 112 പേരും എയർ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പ്രത്യേക വിമാനത്തിൽ സ്വദേശത്തേക്ക് മടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു.
കൊവിഡ് - 19 പോസറ്റീവാണെന്നു കണ്ടെത്തി കളമശ്ശേരി മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലെ ചികിത്സയിലൂടെ സുഖം പ്രാപിച്ച ആറ് ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് പൗരന്മാരും ഈ സംഘത്തിലുണ്ട്.
ബംഗളൂരിലെ ബിട്ടീഷ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി ഹൈക്കമ്മീഷനിലെ ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി സ്ഥാനപതി ജെറമി പിലിമോർ ബെഡ്ഫോർഡ് കൊച്ചി വിമാനത്താവളത്തിലെത്തി നടപടിക്രമങ്ങൾക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നൽകി.
യുകെ പൗരന്മാരെ സ്വദേശത്തേക്ക് സുരക്ഷിതമായി അയക്കാൻ സാധിച്ചതിൽ ഏറെ ചാരിതാർത്ഥ്യമുണ്ട്. അതിഥി ദേവോ ഭവ: എന്ന സംസ്കാരം ഉയർത്തിപ്പിടിച്ചാണ് ഇവരെ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് സംരക്ഷിച്ചത്. കൊവിഡ് രോഗ ബാധിതരായ എല്ലാ വിദേശ പൗരന്മാരുടെയും ചികിത്സാചെലവുകൾ സംസ്ഥാനം നേരിട്ടാണ് വഹിച്ചത്. ലോക്ഡൗൺ കാലത്ത് വിദേശ പൗരന്മാരുടെ താമസവും ഭക്ഷണവും ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പാണ് ഏർപ്പാടു ചെയ്തത്.
കേരളത്തിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന വിദേശ ടൂറിസ്റ്റുകളുമായി മടങ്ങിയ മൂന്നാമത്തെ വിമാനമാണിത്. നേരത്തെ ജർമനിയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള 232 പേരും ഫ്രാൻസിൽ നിന്നുള്ള 112 പേരും എയർ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പ്രത്യേക വിമാനത്തിൽ സ്വദേശത്തേക്ക് മടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു.
ഇന്ന് കോവിഡ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത് 7 പേര്ക്ക് കോവിഡ്-19 ബാധിച്ച 27 പേര് കൂടി ഇന്ന് രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയതായി മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയന്. കാസര്ഗോഡ് ജില്ലയില് നിന്നുള്ള 24 പേരുടേയും എറണാകുളം, മലപ്പുറം, കണ്ണൂര് ജില്ലകളില് നിന്നുള്ള ഓരോരുത്തരുടേയും പരിശോധനാഫലമാണ് നെഗറ്റീവ് ആയത്. ഇതുവരെ 394 പേര്ക്കാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. ഇതില് 245 പേരാണ് ഇതുവരെ കോവിഡില് നിന്നും രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയത്. ഇതോടെ നിലവില് 147 പേരാണ് സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളില് ചികിത്സയിലുള്ളത്.
എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയില് എയര്പോര്ട്ട് ഡ്യൂട്ടിയ്ക്കിടെ രോഗം ബാധിച്ച രണ്ട് ആരോഗ്യ പ്രവര്ത്തകരുടേയും രോഗം ഭേദമായി ഡിസ്ചാര്ജായി. ജൂനിയര് ഹെല്ത്ത് ഇന്സ്പെക്ടര്മാരായ സന്തോഷ്കുമാര്, കെ.കെ. അനീഷ് എന്നിവര്ക്കാണ് രോഗം ഭേദമായത്.
അതേസമയം സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇന്ന് 7 പേര്ക്ക് കോവിഡ്-19 സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. കണ്ണൂര് ജില്ലയില് നിന്നുള്ള 4 പേര്ക്കും കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയില് നിന്നുള്ള 2 പേര്ക്കും കാസര്ഗോഡ് ജില്ലയില് നിന്നുള്ള ഓരാള്ക്കുമാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. ഇതില് 5 പേര് ദുബായില് നിന്നും വന്നവരാണ്. രണ്ട് പേര്ക്ക് സമ്പര്ക്കത്തിലൂടെയാണ് രോഗം ഉണ്ടായത്. കണ്ണൂര് ജില്ലയിലെ 3 പേരും കോഴിക്കോട്, കാസര്ഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലുള്ള ഓരോരുത്തരുമാണ് ദുബായില് നിന്നും വന്നത്. കണ്ണൂര്, കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിലുള്ള ഓരോരുത്തര്ക്കാണ് സമ്പര്ക്കത്തിലൂടെ രോഗം ഉണ്ടായത്.
സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിലായി 88,855 പേര് നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. ഇവരില് 88,332 പേര് വീടുകളിലും 523 പേര് ആശുപത്രികളിലും നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. 108 പേരെയാണ് ഇന്ന് ആശുപത്രിയില് പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. രോഗലക്ഷണങ്ങള് ഉള്ള 17,400 വ്യക്തികളുടെ സാമ്പിള് പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതില് ലഭ്യമായ 16,489 സാമ്പിളുകളുടെ പരിശോധനാ ഫലം നെഗറ്റിവ് ആണ്.

Seven new cases & 27 recoveries today, total 147 patients under treatment
Thiruvananthapuram, April 16: Seven new Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Kerala today - four persons from Kannur district, two in Kozhikode district and one in Kasargod district. Among the new cases, five are people who have returned from abroad and two are cases of local transmission.
Meanwhile, the test results of 27 patients under treatment in hospitals came as negative - 24 patients from Kasargod district, and one each in Ernakulam, Malappuram and Kannur districts.
Kerala has so far reported a total of 394 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus infection and 147 patients are still under treatment in different hospitals across the State.
Keeping the recent trend, the number of people under surveillance in the State has come down to 88,855. Of these, 88,332 are observation in their homes and 523 are isolated at hospitals. 108 persons were admitted to hospitals. 17,400 samples from people with symptoms have been sent so far for testing and 16,489 samples have tested negative with no infection.
Briefing the media, Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said, “The number of recoveries is now more than the number of new cases being reported and this is a vindication of the preventive measures undertaken by us. It gives me immense pleasure in announcing that seven foreign nationals who had recovered from Covid-19 in Kerala have reached back their respective countries. This is a testimony to our progress in treating the Coronavirus. Two staffers of the Kochi International Airport at Nedumbassery, who got infected while on airport duty, were among those who recovered from the infection today.
The Chief Minister also said the patients who are being discharged from hospitals after recovering from Covid-19 should undergo a 14-days mandatory isolation at their homes, along with their family members. LSG bodies should monitor these families.

Kerala plans phased relaxation of lockdown in consonance with Central guidelines
Thiruvananthapuram, April 16: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today presented a plan for a phased relaxation of lockdown in the State, in consonance with the Central guidelines. “The State Government will abide by the general guidelines announced by the Central Government while extending the lockdown till May 03. We would request approval from Centre for grouping of districts based on the number of active/positive cases and allowing certain exemptions in these places. However, all common restrictions applicable to pan India will continue in Kerala”, he said.
The Chief Minister also announced that the State would need Central approval to exempt certain districts from the hotspot list declared by the Centre. All the districts in the State have been grouped into four zones based on the number of active/positive cases being reported.
Zone I with higher restriction: Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode and Malappuram Districts
The State Government is of the opinion that these four districts with the maximum number of positive cases - Kasargod (61), Kannur (45), Kozhikode (9) and Malappuram (9) be classified as one zone. Full lockdown will continue in these places till May 03. Hotspots within these districts would be identified and these villages/areas with maximum cases would be quarantined with maximum restrictions in place.
Zone II with partial exemptions: Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam and Kollam Districts
As the number of positive cases is less in these districts, some exemptions to be allowed after April 24. However, full restrictions/lockdown would be in place till April 24. Hotspot areas within these districts would be identified and quarantined
Zone III with partial relaxations: Alappuzha, Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, Thrissur and Wayanad Districts
With minimum cases now, a partial relaxation of the lockdown restrictions will be allowed in these districts after April 20 along with total sealing of hotspot areas. Shops and restaurants (only parcel) would be allowed to be open till 7 pm.
Zone IV with minimum restrictions: Kottayam and Idukki Districts
With no positive cases now, these two districts would have minimum restrictions and local travel is planned to be allowed. Use of masks will be compulsory along with the use of sanitisers and hand washing.
“However, general restrictions like inter-state and inter-district travel will not be allowed during this lockdown period and would be applicable across the State. Restrictions on public transport and closure of education and training institutes, religious places, cinema theatres and places of public gathering would continue to be in place. I hope these exemptions would help the people to continue their normal life”, the Chief Minister added.
The Chief Minister also announced plans for phased opening up of the construction sector, traditional sectors like coir, cashew, beedi and handicrafts; agriculture sector, food processing units, plantation sector, and Cooperative institutions, among others.
Minister of Health & Social Justice, Smt K K Shailaja Teacher; Revenue Minister, Shri E Chandrasekharan, and Chief Secretary, Shri Tom Jose IAS were also present during the media briefing.
