​​സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് 6 പേര്‍ക്ക് കൂടി കോവിഡ്-19 സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചതായി മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയന്‍. 6 പേരും കണ്ണൂര്‍ ജില്ലയിലുള്ളവരാണ്. ഇവരില്‍ 4 പേര്‍ ദുബായില്‍ നിന്നും ഒരാള്‍ അബുദാബിയില്‍ നിന്നും വന്നവരാണ്. ഒരാള്‍ക്ക് സമ്പര്‍ക്കത്തിലൂടെയാണ് രോഗം ബാധിച്ചത്.

സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് 21 പേരാണ് ഇന്ന് രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയത്. കാസര്‍ഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ 19 പേരുടേയും ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ 2 പേരുടേയും പരിശോധനാ ഫലമാണ് നെഗറ്റീവായത്. ഇതോടെ 291 പേരാണ് ഇതുവരെ കോവിഡില്‍ നിന്നും രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയത്. 114 പേരാണ് നിലവില്‍ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലുള്ളത്.

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിലായി 46,323 പേരാണ് നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലുള്ളത്. ഇവരില്‍ 45,925 പേര്‍ വീടുകളിലും 398 പേര്‍ ആശുപത്രികളിലും നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. 62 പേരെയാണ് ഇന്ന് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. രോഗലക്ഷണങ്ങളുള്ള 19,756 വ്യക്തികളുടെ സാമ്പിള്‍ പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതില്‍ ലഭ്യമായ 19,074 സാമ്പിളുകളുടെ പരിശോധനാ ഫലം നെഗറ്റിവ് ആണ്.

Kerala CM applauds Kerala’s efforts for containing Covid outbreak
 
Thiruvananthapuram, April 20: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today applauded the efforts of the people in the State in containing the outbreak of the pandemic. “Medical professional, Health care workers, Government officials, sanitation workers, and the general public, in fact everyone worked together to achieve the single goal of restricting the spread of the Coronavirus in the State. They deserve to be appreciated. But at the same time, we cannot afford to take a break. Any carelessness on our part might make the situation disastrous and beyond control.”
 
Addressing the media, the Chief Minister said that there was a phase when Kerala accounted for the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the country but today we have the highest number of recovered cases. “Our recovery rate is the highest and our mortality rate due to Coronavirus is the lowest in the country at 0.58% as compared to the world average of 5.75% and 2.7% in India. For a State with high population density, Kerala has the maximum number of Covid-19 testing facilities. Kerala rolled out the first testing kiosk and is now ready for starting the plasma therapy trials, and is waiting for approvals from ICMR and Drugs Controller.”
 
It may be recalled that Kerala reported the first Coronavirus case in the country on January 30, in a student who had returned back from Wuhan in China. This was followed by two more students, both Wuhan returnees. The second wave of the infection hit the State on February 19 when a family of who had returned to Kerala from Italy tested positive. The number of new cases started increasing gradually as people who were coming to Kerala from other countries started reporting positive and this peaked on March 30 when the State had the highest number of 32 new cases being reported on a single day.
 
“There was a time when we thought the situation might go out of control. At one point, which was on April 04, we had the highest number of people under surveillance in the State, a total of 1,71,355  persons and today, it has come down to 46,323. The Kasargod district has in particular shown much resilience in fighting the pandemic in the last two months as the district had the highest number of 169 confirmed cases within the State. Now 142 have recovered and the rest 27 patients are on their way to recovery with no serious issues. The way Kasargod fought back should be a role model for the country”, the CM added.
 
The Chief Minister once again reiterated that there is no relaxation in safety guidelines during the lockdown period and the exemptions announced so far are in concurrence with the Central Government. He asked everyone to move towards more healthy and safe practices in our lifestyle. “The threat of Covid won’t go off immediately, we should learn new habits for the prevention of the infection and this should start from our children.”

Six new cases & 21 recoveries, total 114 patients under treatment
 
Thiruvananthapuram, April 20: Briefing the media about the Covid-19 situation in the State, Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said, “Six new cases of Coronavirus infection were reported in the State today, all from Kannur district. Five of them have come from overseas and one has got the infection though local contact. Meanwhile, the test results of 21 patients under treatment have come negative. 19 from Kasargod district and two in Alappuzha are those who have recovered.”
 
114 patients are still under treatment in different hospitals across the State. 291 patients have so far recovered from the infection.
 
Keeping up with the recent trend, the number of people under surveillance has come down to 46,323. Of these, 45,925 persons are isolated at their homes while 398 are in hospitals. 62 persons were admitted to hospitals today. So far, 19,756 samples from people with symptoms have been sent for testing and 19,074 samples have tested negative with no infection.
 
“All those who are quarantined at hospitals will be tested and we plan to complete this testing in the next 2-3 days”, the Chief Minister added.
 
Institute of Advanced Virology, Trivandrum gets Global Virus Network membership
 
Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today announced that the Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV) at Thiruvananthapuram has got membership in the Global Virus Network (GVN). This is the first institution in the country to get the prestigious GVM membership. This would give IAV access to the GVN’s researchers at 45 centres across 29 countries for detection and management of viral diseases apart from the exchange of ideas and resource material. 
 
The Institute of Advanced Virology at the Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) Bio 360 Life Sciences Park at Thonnakkal in Thiruvananthapuram was established, by the Government of Kerala in 2019.
 
The Global Virus Network is an international coalition of medical virologists whose goal is to help the international medical community by improving the detection and management of viral diseases. GVN is headquartered at the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine at Baltimore city, Maryland, US.

Kerala Covid-19 Tracker
19 new cases & 16 recoveries, total 117 patients under treatment
 
Thiruvananthapuram, April 21: Kerala today saw a spike in the number of Coronavirus cases being reported with 19 new cases being confirmed today. Ten of the new cases are from Kannur district, four in Palakkad district, three from Kasargod district, and one each in Malappuram and Kollam districts. Of these, 13 persons have returned from abroad, three from Tamil Nadu and one from Uttar Pradesh. The rest two are cases of local transmission.
 
At the same time, 16 patients under treatment have recovered from the disease. Seven patients from Kannur district, four each in Kasargod and Kozhikode districts, and one from Thiruvananthapuram district are those whose test results came as negative.
 
The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Kerala till date is 426 and currently, 117 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals across the State. 307 patients have so far recovered from Coronavirus.
 
The number of people under surveillance has further come down to 36,667. Of these, 36,335 persons are quarantined at their homes and 332 are isolated in hospitals. 102 persons were hospitalised today. Till now, 20, 252 samples from people with symptoms have been sent for testing and 19,449 samples have been confirmed with no infection.
 
Briefing the media, Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said, “Kannur district now has the highest number of 104 Coronavirus cases in the State. This includes ten members from a single family who got infected through local transmission. All Pravasis who have returned from overseas and their high-risk contacts, including those who did not have any symptoms were tested. Presently, 53 patients are under treatment in the district. With the increase in the positive cases, lockdown would be strictly enforced with heightened checking of all vehicles on the roads. The hotspots in LSG areas would be sealed and only limited medical shops would be allowed to open. The relaxations announced earlier would not be applicable in Kannur district as it is in Red Zone and all restrictions would continue till May 03.”
 
The Chief Minister also informed that a 62-year old patient in Pathanamthitta district is under hospitalisation for the last 45 days and has tested positive for the last 36 days.  So far 21 samples of this patient have been tested and is still under treatment.

Kerala Chief Minister calls for self-sufficiency in food production
 
Thiruvananthapuram, April 21: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today asked the people in the State to be self-sufficient in producing food grains and in the cultivation of fruits and vegetables so as to be prepared for any eventuality in future. Kerala is dependent on other States for meeting its demand for food grains, fruits and vegetables.
 
“We have enough food stocks available for now and we are in a comfortable situation but if the current circumstances due to the pandemic outbreak continue for long, we would have to start preparing for the future and would need big interventions in the agriculture sector.  The agriculture department in association with LSG bodies is planning big projects to improve our self-reliance. We should explore all possible ways to improve our vegetable cultivation using kitchen gardens, rooftop cultivation and community projects by making the best use of the available agriculture land in the State. We should be able to increase the production for our own consumption and reduce our dependency on other states. We should be prepared to face any shortage or scarcity of food”, the Chief Minister said.
 
The State needs to adopt modern farming techniques and practices to have maximum produce from the minimum area by adopting them for regional needs. The State needs to increase the rice cultivation in the State to over 25,000 hectares in the next two years. Cultivation of cereals, tuber crops, tapioca and plantain/banana should be increased to a larger area. Kerala requires 20 lakh metric tonnes of vegetables every year and this year’s production is 14.72 lakh MT. The Chief Minister exhorted the youths to come forward and take up agriculture in a large way. The State need large scale interventions to increase the output of food grains, fruits and vegetables
 
Meanwhile, the CM also informed that the Government has intervened in the fisheries sector to make the wholesale purchase of fish a smooth affair in order to avoid gathering of large crowds in harbours. The harbour committee would decide on a rate based on the average prices in the last few days and the fish would be sold at that rate instead of conducting auctions. This would ensure that all fishermen get a decent price for their catch and customers also get good and fresh fish. This system is being followed in most fishing harbours across the state and he expressed the hope that all harbours would follow this system.

സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് 16 പേരാണ് ഇന്ന് രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയത്. കണ്ണൂര്‍ ജില്ലയിലെ 7 പേരുടേയും കാസര്‍ഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ 4 പേരുടേയും (ഒരാള്‍ കണ്ണൂര്‍ ജില്ലയില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്നത്) കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിലെ 4 പേരുടേയും (2 കണ്ണൂര്‍ സ്വദേശികള്‍) തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരാളുടേയും പരിശോധനാ ഫലമാണ് നെഗറ്റീവായത്. ഇതോടെ 307 പേരാണ് ഇതുവരെ കോവിഡില്‍ നിന്നും രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയത്. 117 പേരാണ് നിലവില്‍ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലുള്ളത്.

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിലായി 36,667 പേരാണ് നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലുള്ളത്. ഇവരില്‍ 36,335 പേര്‍ വീടുകളിലും 332 പേര്‍ ആശുപത്രികളിലും നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. 102 പേരെയാണ് ഇന്ന് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. രോഗലക്ഷണങ്ങളുള്ള 20,252 വ്യക്തികളുടെ സാമ്പിള്‍ പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതില്‍ ലഭ്യമായ 19,449 സാമ്പിളുകളുടെ പരിശോധനാ ഫലം നെഗറ്റിവ് ആണ്.

​​സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് 11 പേര്‍ക്ക് കൂടി കോവിഡ്-19 സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചതായി മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയന്‍. കണ്ണൂര്‍ ജില്ലയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള 7 പേര്‍ക്കും കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിലുള്ള 2 പേര്‍ക്കും കോട്ടയം, മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലകളിലുള്ള ഓരോരുത്തര്‍ക്കുമാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. ഇതില്‍ 5 പേര്‍ വിദേശത്ത് നിന്നും വന്നതാണ്. 3 പേര്‍ക്ക് സമ്പര്‍ക്കത്തിലൂടെയാണ് രോഗം ബാധിച്ചത്. കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരു ആരോഗ്യ പ്രവര്‍ത്തയ്ക്കും കണ്ണൂര്‍, കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിലെ 2 ഹൗസ് സര്‍ജന്‍മാര്‍ക്കും രോഗം ബാധിച്ചു. കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജിലെ ഈ ഹൗസ് സര്‍ജന്‍മാര്‍ കേരളത്തിന് പുറത്ത് നിന്നും ട്രെയിനില്‍ വന്നവരാണ്. കണ്ണൂര്‍ ജില്ലയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള 4 പേര്‍ ദുബായില്‍ നിന്നും കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരാള്‍ ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയയില്‍ നിന്നും വന്നവരാണ്. കണ്ണൂര്‍, മലപ്പുറം, കോട്ടയം ജില്ലകളിലുള്ള ഓരോരുത്തര്‍ക്കാണ് സമ്പര്‍ക്കത്തിലൂടെ രോഗം ബാധിച്ചത്.

സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഒരാളാണ് ഇന്ന് രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയത്. പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ഒരാളുടെ പരിശോധനാ ഫലമാണ് നെഗറ്റീവായത്. ഇതോടെ 308 പേരാണ് ഇതുവരെ കോവിഡില്‍ നിന്നും രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയത്. 127 പേരാണ് നിലവില്‍ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലുള്ളത്.

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിലായി 29,150 പേരാണ് നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലുള്ളത്. ഇവരില്‍ 28,804 പേര്‍ വീടുകളിലും 346 പേര്‍ ആശുപത്രികളിലും നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. 95 പേരെയാണ് ഇന്ന് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. രോഗലക്ഷണങ്ങളുള്ള 20,821 വ്യക്തികളുടെ സാമ്പിള്‍ പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതില്‍ ലഭ്യമായ 19,998 സാമ്പിളുകളുടെ പരിശോധനാ ഫലം നെഗറ്റിവ് ആണ്.

Elected representatives in Kerala to take 30% cut in salary & honorarium for a year

Government employees to contribute one month salary to CMDRF

Thiruvananthapuram, April 22: Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today announced that all elected representatives in the State - Ministers, Members of the Legislative Assembly, members of different Boards under the Government and members of Local Self Government bodies would take a 30% cut in their monthly salary and honorarium for a period of one year.

“Covid-19 has had a huge impact on the economic sector at the national and state level as well but we are not going back on welfare schemes. Kerala has been hit badly and we are a consumer state. The State is going through a fiscal crisis as the tax collection revenue has fallen drastically and remittances from expatriates have also stopped since the outbreak of Coronavirus. Expenses for healthcare services and food safety are unavoidable. In this scenario, we need to mop up additional resources within the State. It’s a matter of relief that people across all sections of our society have contributed to the Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund (CMDRF)”, said the Chief Minister.

The CM also informed that government employees and their associated organisations have expressed their willingness to contribute one month’s salary to CMDRF. The Cabinet meeting held today decided that a part of the salary of all government employees would be kept apart for this. Accordingly, the salary for six days every month would be deducted for the next five months. This would be applicable to employees of all State-owned Enterprises, Public Sector Undertakings, Quasi-Government organisations, Universities, etc in the State. However, those earning less than Rs. 20,000 a month would be exempted.

State to give impetus to Poultry farming, Fish farming and Animal Husbandry

Kerala Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan today announced that the state would give an impetus to poultry farming, fish farming and animal husbandry to increase self-sufficiency in these sectors. The State would seek NABARD’s help in implementing these schemes. Cooperative societies would cater to additional loans to expand the production in these sectors.

The Chief Minister said the capacity of poultry farming would be increase to give 75 lakhs additional egg production. The Kerala Chicken project would be spread across the State to increase egg and chicken meat availability and 200 new outlets would be opened.

With increase milk production, the State would set up a new milk powder plant and an ultra pasteurisation plant for UHT milk production. The state would also explore the production of new value-added products from milk apart from cheese and yoghurt.

The CM also called for the modernisation of the fisheries sector. Big reservoirs, dams, ponds and freshwater lakes would be used for fish farming. The government also plans to explore fish farming at sea using the latest technology and modern methods. The idea is to increase the production of fresh water prawns, saltwater prawns, mussels, prom fret, kingfish, etc.

11 new cases & One recovery today, total 127 patients under treatment


Thiruvananthapuram, April 22: Kerala reported 11 new cases of Covid-19 today, seven from Kannur district, two in Kasargod district, and one each from Kottayam and Malappuram districts. Five of them have come back from overseas and three have got the infection through primary contact. One person is a health worker and two are house surgeons at Kozhikode Medical College who had travelled to Kerala by train.

Meanwhile, one patient from Palakkad district was cured of the disease as the rest result came negative.

Till date, 437 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Kerala and 127 patients are presently under treatment in different hospitals across the State.

Continuing the trend in the past few days, the total number of people under surveillance in the State has come down to 29,150. Out of these, 28,804 persons are under observation at their homes and 346 are quarantined in hospitals. 95persons were hospitalised today.

A total of 20,821 samples have been sent for testing so far and 19,998 samples have been confirmed with no infection.

Addressing the media, Chief Minister, Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said, “The Kerala Government welcomes the Central Government Ordinance to ensure the safety of healthcare workers. Hope this would deter the violence against doctors and frontline health workers during this pandemic time.”
The CM also added that Kannur district continues to have the maximum number of Coronavirus patients in the State today also. The enforcement of the lockdown with heightened checking would continue in the district.

He also informed that full-time ASHA workers who are at the forefront of Covid prevention activities would get an honorarium and fixed incentive from March to May, 2020. Apart from this, an additional Covid incentive of Rs.1,000 would be paid to them. 26,475 ASHA workers in the State would benefit from this decision.

ഭാവിയിലെ പ്രയാസങ്ങള്‍ ദൂരീകരിക്കാന്‍ മൃഗസംരക്ഷ-മത്സ്യ കൃഷി മേഖകളില്‍ ഒരു കര്‍മ്മ പദ്ധതി തയ്യാറാക്കും.

1. മുട്ട, മാംസം ഉല്‍പാദനത്തില്‍ സ്വയംപര്യാപ്തത നേടുന്നതിന് നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കും. സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് പ്രതിദിനം 75 ലക്ഷം അധികം മുട്ട ഉല്‍പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള സൗകര്യങ്ങളും സഹായവും ഒരുക്കും.

2. സഹകരണ സംഘങ്ങള്‍ മുഖേന കാര്‍ഷികരംഗത്ത് വായ്പ ലഭ്യമാക്കുന്നതിന് വിപുലമായ പദ്ധതി നടപ്പാക്കും. ഇതിനായി നബാര്‍ഡിന്‍റെ സഹായം തേടും.

3. കുടുംബത്തില്‍ പശുക്കളെ വളര്‍ത്താനുള്ള പദ്ധതി ആരംഭിക്കും. അതോടൊപ്പം പഞ്ചായത്ത് തലത്തില്‍ അഞ്ച്, പത്ത് പശുക്കളെ വളര്‍ത്തുന്ന ഫാമുകള്‍ തദ്ദേശസ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ മുഖേന തുടങ്ങും.

4. കേരള ചിക്കന്‍ പദ്ധതി സംസ്ഥാന വ്യാപകമാക്കും. ഈ വര്‍ഷം 200 ഔട്ട്ലെറ്റുകള്‍ തുടങ്ങും. കുടുംബശ്രീക്ക് സ്വന്തമായി ഇറച്ചിക്കോഴി സംസ്കരണത്തിന് പ്ലാന്‍റ് അടിയന്തരമായി പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കും.

5. മിച്ചം വരുന്ന പാല്‍, പാല്‍പ്പൊടിയോ ബാഷ്പീകരിച്ച പാലോ ആയി പരിവര്‍ത്തനം ചെയ്ത് സംഭരിക്കാൻ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ആധുനിക സൗകര്യങ്ങളോടു കൂടിയ പാല്‍പ്പൊടി പ്ലാന്‍റ് സ്ഥാപിക്കും. അതോടൊപ്പം ഒരു ബാഷ്പീകരണ പ്ലാന്‍റും സ്ഥാപിക്കാന്‍ ആലോചിക്കുന്നു. ഇതിനുള്ള സാധ്യതാ പഠനം ഉടനെ നടത്തും.

6. പാലില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള മൂല്യവര്‍ധിത ഉല്‍പന്നങ്ങളായ ചീസ്, കട്ടിത്തൈര് തുടങ്ങിയവയുടെ ഉല്‍പാദനം വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കും. നിലവിലുള്ള ഡയറി പ്ലാന്‍റുകളില്‍ ഉല്‍പ്പന്ന വൈവിധ്യവല്‍ക്കരണം നടത്തും. ക്ഷീര സഹകരണ സംഘങ്ങള്‍ നവീകരിക്കും. കറവയന്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ള സബ്സിഡി വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കും.

7. മത്സ്യമേഖലയ്ക്ക് സമഗ്രമായ സാമ്പത്തിക പാക്കേജ് കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പരിഗണിക്കണമെന്നാണ് കേരളത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യം. വിശദമായി ഇക്കാര്യം കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാരിന്‍റെ മുന്നില്‍ അവതരിപ്പിക്കും.

8. കോവിഡിനു ശേഷമുള്ള ഘട്ടത്തില്‍ അതിജീവനത്തിനായി മത്സ്യബന്ധന മേഖലയില്‍ അടിയന്തര പുനരുജ്ജീവന നടപടികളില്‍ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കും. ബദല്‍ ഉപജീവനമാര്‍ഗം നല്‍കുന്നതിന് പ്രാമുഖ്യം നല്‍കും.

9. മത്സ്യം, പാല്‍, മുട്ട മേഖലകളിലെ വിതരണ ശൃംഖലകളുടെ നവീകരണം ഏറ്റെടുക്കും. മത്സ്യ വിതരണശൃംഖല പരിഷ്കരിക്കുന്നതിന് പുതിയ മൊബൈല്‍ ആപ്ലിക്കേഷന്‍ സാധ്യതകള്‍ പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തും.

10. സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വലിയ ജലാശയങ്ങള്‍ ഉള്‍നാടന്‍ മത്സ്യകൃഷിക്ക് കീഴില്‍ കൊണ്ടുവരും. അവയില്‍ തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുടെയും കുടുംബശ്രീയുടെയും സഹായത്തോടെ മത്സ്യ കൃഷി വ്യാപിപ്പിക്കും. മത്സ്യകുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ പൊതു ജലാശയത്തില്‍ നിക്ഷേപിക്കും. ഉപയോഗശൂന്യമായി കിടക്കുന്ന കുളങ്ങള്‍ നിശ്ചിത വര്‍ഷത്തേക്ക് പ്രത്യേക വ്യവസ്ഥയില്‍ മത്സ്യകൃഷിക്ക് ഉപയോഗയോഗ്യമാക്കുന്ന കാര്യം പരിഗണിക്കും. സ്വകാര്യ മത്സ്യ വളര്‍ത്തല്‍ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങള്‍ ആരംഭിക്കും.

11. മത്സ്യമേഖലയിലെ സ്ഥാപന വായ്പ വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി പുതിയ വായ്പാനയം രൂപീകരിക്കും. ഉള്‍നാടന്‍ മത്സ്യബന്ധനം ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള മത്സ്യമേഖലയുടെ വായ്പാ ആവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ വിലയിരുത്താന്‍ സംസ്ഥാന തലത്തിലും ജില്ലാ തലത്തിലും സംവിധാനമുണ്ടാക്കും.

12. മത്സ്യലഭ്യത വിവരങ്ങൾ മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിലേര്‍പ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് യഥാവിധി വിതരണം ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് സാങ്കേതിക സംവിധാനം ഉണ്ടാക്കും.

13. ഗുണനിലവാരമുള്ള മത്സ്യവിത്ത് ഉല്‍പാദനം ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തും. ശുദ്ധജല ചെമ്മീന്‍, ഉപ്പുവെള്ള ചെമ്മീന്‍, കടുക്ക (കല്ലുമ്മേക്കായ്), ചിപ്പി, ഞണ്ട് എന്നിവയുടെ വിത്തുല്‍പാദനത്തിന് പ്രത്യേക ശ്രദ്ധ നല്‍കും.

14. നമുക്ക് ഏറെ പരിചയമില്ലാത്തതാണ് കടല്‍ മത്സ്യകൃഷി. ഇത് ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സമുദ്ര മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിന്‍റെ ഭാവി എന്ന നിലയിലാണ് കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഇതിന്‍റെ സാധ്യത പരിശോധിക്കാനും കടല്‍ത്തീര പ്രദേശങ്ങളില്‍ ഉപ്പുവെള്ളത്തിലെ കൃഷി വിപുലീകരിക്കാനും സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നു.

15. അലങ്കാര മത്സ്യമേഖലയിലെ സാധ്യത കൂടുതല്‍ പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനൊപ്പം തദ്ദേശീയ അലങ്കാര മത്സ്യങ്ങളുടെ കൃഷി പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കും.

16. കരിമീന്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള ഫിന്‍ഫിഷ് കൃഷി വാണിജ്യാധിഷ്ഠിത ഉല്‍പാദനത്തിന് ഉതകുന്ന വിധം വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കും. ഇതിനുവേണ്ട വിത്തുകളുടെ വിതരണവും ഫലപ്രദമാക്കും. വനിതാ സ്വാശ്രയ സംഘങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ള ഉപജീവന സഹായപദ്ധതിയായി ഇതും ചിപ്പികൃഷിയും വ്യാപകമാക്കാനാണ് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്.

17. രോഗപ്രതിരോധ ശേഷിയും അതിവേഗ വളര്‍ച്ചയും കൂടുതല്‍ വാണിജ്യസാധ്യതയുമുള്ള വനാമി ചെമ്മീന്‍ കൃഷി വ്യാപകമാക്കാനുള്ള മുന്‍ തീരുമാനം നടപ്പാക്കും. ഇതിലൂടെ ചെമ്മീന്‍ കൃഷിയില്‍ സമീപകാലത്തുണ്ടായ തിരിച്ചടി അതിജീവിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയും എന്നാണ് കരുതുന്നത്.

18. കഴിഞ്ഞ കുറേ വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി നെല്‍കൃഷി ചെയ്യാത്ത ജലാശയങ്ങളില്‍ വര്‍ഷം മുഴുവന്‍ ചെമ്മീന്‍ കൃഷി നടത്താന്‍ സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കുന്നത് ആലോചിക്കും.

​​സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് 10 പേര്‍ക്ക് കൂടി കോവിഡ്-19 സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചതായി മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പിണറായി വിജയന്‍. ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിലെ 4 പേര്‍ക്കും കോഴിക്കോട്, കോട്ടയം ജില്ലകളിലെ 2 പേര്‍ക്ക് വീതവും തിരുവനന്തപുരം, കൊല്ലം ജില്ലകളിലെ ഓരോരുത്തര്‍ക്കുമാണ് രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. ഇതില്‍ 2 പേര്‍ വിദേശത്ത് നിന്നും 2 പേര്‍ ചെന്നൈയില്‍ നിന്നും ഒരോരുത്തര്‍ മൈസൂര്‍, പൊള്ളാച്ചി എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും വന്നതാണ്. 4 പേര്‍ക്ക് സമ്പര്‍ക്കത്തിലൂടെയാണ് രോഗം ബാധിച്ചത്. കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരാള്‍ ദുബായില്‍ നിന്നും തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരാള്‍ ഷാര്‍ജയില്‍ നിന്നും വന്നതാണ്. കോഴിക്കോട്, ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിലുള്ള ഓരോരുത്തരാണ് ചെന്നൈയില്‍ നിന്നും വന്നത്. ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരാള്‍ മൈസൂറില്‍ നിന്നും ഒരാള്‍ പൊള്ളാച്ചിയില്‍ നിന്നും വന്നതാണ്. കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിലെ 2 പേര്‍ക്കും കൊല്ലം, ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലകളിലെ ഓരോരുത്തര്‍ക്കും സമ്പര്‍ക്കത്തിലൂടെയാണ് രോഗം ബാധിച്ചത്.

തിരുവനന്തപുരം ജില്ലയില്‍ രോഗം സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചയാള്‍ വര്‍ക്കല സ്വദേശിയായ 44 വയസുകാരനാണ്. വീട്ടില്‍ നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലുള്ള ഇദ്ദേഹത്തെ ഉടന്‍ മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് ഐസൊലേഷന്‍ വാര്‍ഡിലേക്ക് മാറ്റുന്നതാണ്.

സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് 8 പേരാണ് ഇന്ന് രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയത്. കാസര്‍ഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിലെ 6 പേരുടേയും മലപ്പുറം, കണ്ണൂര്‍ ജില്ലകളിലെ ഓരോരുത്തരുടേയും പരിശോധനാ ഫലമാണ് നെഗറ്റീവായത്. ഇതോടെ 316 പേരാണ് ഇതുവരെ കോവിഡില്‍ നിന്നും രോഗമുക്തി നേടിയത്. 129 പേരാണ് നിലവില്‍ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലുള്ളത്.

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിലായി 23,876 പേരാണ് നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലുള്ളത്. ഇവരില്‍ 23,439 പേര്‍ വീടുകളിലും 437 പേര്‍ ആശുപത്രികളിലും നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. 148 പേരെയാണ് ഇന്ന് ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചത്. രോഗലക്ഷണങ്ങളുള്ള 21334 വ്യക്തികളുടെ സാമ്പിള്‍ പരിശോധനയ്ക്ക് അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇതില്‍ ലഭ്യമായ 20326 സാമ്പിളുകളുടെ പരിശോധനാ ഫലം നെഗറ്റിവ് ആണ്.
