🚨BREAKING: At his Liberation Day Rose Garden event, President Trump has just announced a 25% tariff on all foreign made automobiles effective at midnight tonight.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "My fellow Americans, this is LIBERATION DAY. April 2, 2025 will forever be remembered as the day American industry was reborn, the day America's destiny was reclaimed, and the day that we began to make American wealthy again."

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "This is one of the most important days, in my opinion, in American history. It's our Declaration of Economic Independence. For years, hard working American citizens who were forced to sit on the sidelines as other nations got rich and powerful. Much of it at our expense. But now it's our turn to prosper and in so doing, use trillions and trillions of dollars to reduce our taxes and pay down our national debt."

"With today's action, we are finally going to be able to make America great again, greater than ever before."

President Trump: "Since the beginning of NAFTA, America lost 90,000 factories, 5 million manufacturing jobs, while racking up trade deficits of $19 trillion. That was the worst trade deal ever made."

President Trump's tariffs aren't random. They're detailed and thought out. The US Trade Representative has produced a 400-page report chronicling every single tariff and trade restriction imposed on America, everywhere in the world.

If a country doesn't like today's announcement, then they have an easy fix: Get rid of the restrictions on U.S. imports. Equalize the playing field.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: "The United States charges other countries only a 2.4% tariff on motorcycles. Meanwhile, Thailand and others are charging much higher prices like 60%, India charges 70%, Vietnam charges 75%, and others are even higher than that.

Likewise, until today, the United States has for decades charged a 2.5% tariff. Think of that 2.5% on foreign made automobiles. The European Union charges US more than 10% tariffs and India charges 70%. And perhaps worst of all are the non-monetary restrictions imposed by South Korea, Japan and very many other nations as a result of these colossal trade barriers.

Effective at midnight, we will impose a 25% tariff on all foreign made automobiles."

This clip from President Trump may be the most important from the entire Rose Garden speech.

Yes, the markets are going to be jittery in the coming days, weeks, and months. But those same people telling Trump he's wrong, have been wrong about nearly every major geopolitical and economic question over the last decades.

With Trump's plan, in the end we will win. In the end, a made-in-America economic boom will be the reward.

"In the coming days, there will be complaints from the globalists, the outsourcers, special interests, and Fake News... JD Vance asks a very obvious question: What is it about Democrats that they get more angry about deporting violent gang members than they do about the victims of those violent gang members?

It’s going unnoticed because so much other news is happening, but the war drums are beating again in D.C. The warmongers worry this is their last chance to get the white whale they’ve been chasing for thirty years, an all-out regime change war against Iran.

A new Middle East war would be a catastrophic mistake. Our military stockpiles are depleted from three years of backing Ukraine. Our effort to reshore manufacturing has only just begun and will take years to bear fruit. War would worsen our already immense deficit and national debt. Iran is larger than Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan combined. A war would not be easy and could easily become a calamity.

Thanks to President Trump’s restraint during his first term, America has a golden opportunity to pull away from Middle East quagmires for good. We shouldn’t throw that opportunity away so that sone D.C. has-beens can feel tough by sending young Americans to die yet again.

"I personally think Luigi Mangione, if convicted, should spend his life in jail. I do not see him as a candidate for the death penalty. He's a first time offender. He is young and he's somebody prison systems are meant to rehabilitate and to punish. He is somebody who could be somebody that is rehabilitated while serving his sentence of life."
