"The estate also alleges that on January 12, 2009, Kleiman, Wright and two other people performed a recorded bitcoin transaction".

In May 2016, The Economist article had Craig Steven Wright claiming he (under the pseudonym of Satoshi Nakamoto) and Dave Kleiman were behind the invention of bitcoin.[7] In February 2018, a brother of Dave initiated a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida on behalf of the Kleiman estate against Wright over the rights to more than $5,118,266,427.50 worth of bitcoin, claiming Wright defrauded the estate of bitcoins and intellectual property rights.[5][8] The estate alleged that Kleiman was one of the early bitcoin pioneers and worked with Craig Steven Wright on its establishment as a cryptocurrency.[9] The estate also alleges that on January 12, 2009, Kleiman, Wright and two other people performed a recorded bitcoin transaction.[5] The lawsuit claims that between 2008 and 2013 Kleiman and Wright mined over a million bitcoins.[5] According to Craig Wright, Kleiman lost money due to US government seizing of Costa Rica-based Bitcoin exchange called Liberty Reserve leading to Kleiman's poverty.[10]

"Do you want to know why Satoshi had to be anonymous?
Think about it. My past working as a prosecution forensic expert and in other roles with the government would never lead to a system that I could have publicly stood behind.
In order to fund my work, Dave Kleiman and I sold code that was used in gaming illegal out of countries such as Costa Rica. David took the biggest risk because gambling is not illegal in Australia. Nothing he was able to earn in Panama was able to be repatriated legally in the USA".

The thing is that I have to be \ PROVED Wrong. Opinion and anecdotal evidence is not proof. Validated points and \ correctly collected statistical data are. As much as many people find this difficult to believe (even my wife) I enjoy being \ proved wrong. When you understand this you will both serve your clients more effectively \ and also add value in a manner they will understand. You need to sell to management. \ They understand finance and risk. Dave Kleiman
Dave Kleiman led quite the life, even though he passed away in 2013. As a result, we will never get to hear confirmation from him as to whether he was actually Satoshi Nakamoto. However, one thing is for sure, Kleiman was a former soldier/police detective and computer forensics expert that truly knows how to persist no matter the circumstances. Specifically, he attained the rank of detective even after being paralyzed in a motorcycle accident.
Why or how could he be Satoshi? Well, he certainly had the cybersecurity knowledge. While there are smart individuals in the security world, Kleiman appears to be above the rest, as he was able to create an encryption tool that surpassed even NSA guidelines. When you consider that Kleiman was named U.S. Army Soldier of the Year at age 21, while also being part of the same mailing lists that were discussing cryptography and “crypto systems” around the same time of the creation of Bitcoin, one does start to wonder whether Kleiman is possibly Nakamoto. Kleiman has written many books about security, and has been a speaker at security-related events and conferences, as well.
If you need more? Consider this: Jeff Garzik is a Bitcoin pioneer that wrote software code for BItcoin early on and has given away millions in Bitcoin. He claims that the coding style that matches well with Nakamoto’s is none other than Kleiman, and told Bloomberg this in November 2018.

Craig Wright and the Billion Dollar Case
Longtime crypto activist and self-proclaimed Bitcoin creator Craig Wright continues to find himself in the throes of a multi-billion dollar bitcoin legal issue. The lawsuit stems from the alleged theft of 1.1 million bitcoin following the death of Dave Kleiman. According to reports, the brother of the late Dave Kleiman claims that his brother’s bitcoins were unlawfully transferred following his untimely death.
Originally, the suit was for $10 billion, but as the price of Bitcoin dropped, it’s now worth around $1 billion. Wright and Kleiman were partners in a Bitcoin mining facility known as W&K Info Defense Research, LLC. Ironically, the case could help to shed light on Bitcoin’s creator as Craig Wright previously claimed to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto. The courts could request proof.
