New term for "anti-Semitism" just dropped: "Jewphobic."

"I spoke with a Jewish businessman today in the city and he said [Mayor Mamdani's] Jewphobic policies has normalized anti-Semitism."

They went from "anti-Semitism" to "Jew-hatred" and now they're running with "Jewphobic."

โ—๏ธMamdani booed and heckled at 7 October vigil held in solidarity with Israelis

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani was booed and heckled during a vigil held in solidarity with Israeli settlers killed on 7 October, as pro-Palestine demonstrators interrupted the event with chants of, "Traitor, traitor, come on out! You sold all your people out!"

Protesters urged Mamdani to oppose New York real estate events marketing homes in illegal Israeli settlements across the occupied West Bank and criticized what they see as a shift from his earlier pro-Palestine stance after taking office.

Also present was former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander, who has faced criticism after the city's pension funds increased their holdings in Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems, whose weapons and military equipment are used by Israel in Gaza.

Mamdani did not speak at the event.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ ๐ŸŒ First International "noahide Congress" Set for Jerusalem
:.
A "First International Congress of noahides" is scheduled for November 2โ€“6, at the Seven Arches Hotel in Jerusalem, organized by the brit olam noahide World Center under rabbi Oury Cherki โ€” with ~100 voluntary leaders from ~20 countries to "sign a founding charter, elect continental councils, establish an internal rabbinic court, and adopt shared codes and materials for communities already following the 'seven laws of Noah*."' It has israeli religious recognition and a planned presidential reception.

"Critics" note that it "builds institutional scaffolding for a centralized 'moral system' in Jerusalem that excludes Jesus Christ using talmudic sources" (sanhedrin 56aโ€“b) and maimonides assign a "theoretical" death-by-decapitation penalty for violations (including idolatry, which "some Christian interpreters see as conflicting with Trinitarian worship."

*The seven "Noah" laws are not enumerated in the Bible; Genesis 9 supplies the post-Flood covenant context, but the specific list of seven derives from the talmudโ€™s reinterpretation of Genesis 2:16. "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eatโ€ grants permission to eat from the trees โ€” yet the next verse immediately forbids the tree of knowledge of good and evil under penalty of death (a restriction that the "midrashic reading" undercuts by extracting general permissions and prohibitions instead โ€” "arguably": "do as thou wilt").

Why wasnโ€™t he worried about any of the other attendees seeing him do this? They either donโ€™t care, or this is a permitted activity.
