๐ Today is the "Miss France" ceremony, an annual beauty contest which is supposed to designate the most beautiful girl in France.
๐ฉ๐ผ Provence, Brittany, Corsica, Normandy... Here are some pictures of the candidates, in no particular order, to give you an idea of the beauty and (true) diversity of French women.

๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ In Waterloo, Belgium, a police patrol intervened to arrest the members of a family.
โฝ The family was accused of violating the lockdown : the youngest girl, 13 years old, had invited her friends home to play table football.
๐ฃ๏ธ They were denounced by neighbours and the prosecutor immediately ordered a patrol to intervene around midnight.
๐ฅ During the intervention, the police used extreme force, such that the mother suffered multiple fractures. Dramatically you can hear her suffocating and telling "I can't breathe".
๐ง๐ผ The scene took place in front of the 3 children and a few neighbors.
๐ Police then accused the family of being the source of the violence and of violating the lockdown. Family members will face a judge for this.

๐ She went on to say that the best way to encourage people to get vaccinated would be to have a "passport" system.

๐ In other words: she wants to introduce a passport in France that would allow those who are vaccinated to circulate, while those who refuse the vaccine would be restricted in their freedom of movement.
