👉🏻 A source working in the Prefecture confirmed to @GalliaDaily that President Macron should indeed announce a new strict lockdown in France by Thursday.
🗓️ The lockdown could take effect as early as this week.
👮🏻♂️ It would be a strict lockdown, with no going out except to buy food or basic necessities.
🚸 Schools would remain open until the vacations and then close.
⚠️ Note that this information is not 100% sure. It is information transmitted to the French prefectures and confirmed by several elected officials of French cities. But it is not an official decision, the modalities can always change. The government is divided on this issue and could just as well back off and simply tighten the curfew. Even though a new lockdown seems inevitable.
