The Hamas leader explained that replacing historical names in Jerusalem with Hebrew names is a distortion of history and facts, and a desperate attempt to erase the Islamic and Arab identity of the occupied city.

Nasser Eddin also pointed out that the occupation's threat to demolish dozens of schools in Jerusalem is a war crime aimed at depriving the Palestinian people of education, undermining their resilience and steadfastness on their land.

He stressed that the Palestinian people will not allow the distortion of history, the erasure of their identity, or the suppression of their rights through the chains of Judaization and ignorance. They are determined to reclaim their rights by all available means.

He called on freedom-loving people around the world, human rights organizations, and all international institutions to exert pressure on the occupation and curb its ongoing aggression against our people, our land, and our holy sites.
