The attacks have involved the jet-powered Nyan One Way Effector (OWE) loitering munition, developed by Callen-Lenz, a FalconWorks division of defense contractor BAE Systems, as well as another classified British model with a stated range of more than 965 km (600 miles).
British-made drones have been used to strike oil refineries and logistics facilities in Moscow, Yaroslavl, including the Slavneft-YANOS refinery, and Volgograd Oblasts. Nyan UAVs have also reportedly been used against targets in Belgorod Oblast.
Although Ukrainian-built systems still make up the bulk of Ukraine’s long-range drone fleet, the integration of British-manufactured systems would mark a direct shift by London toward supplying ready-made strike weapons for attacks deep inside Russia.

Forecasts: Diesel fuel prices are about to rise sharply.
Crude oil supplies to Gulf countries mainly consist of medium and heavy grades, which yield more middle distillates such as diesel fuel.
Refineries using these grades are optimized to process them.
To partially compensate for the reduction in supplies, about 90% of the oil released from the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) consisted of medium and heavy grades.
Whats the problem?
Initially, only about 60% of the oil in the SPR was sour crude (crude oil with high sulfur content, typically over 0.5%, as well as hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide).
As this reserve is depleted, refineries will have to compete increasingly aggressively for the remaining volumes of medium and heavy oil.
Those unable to secure the necessary grades of crude will be forced to use more light and sweet crude (with low sulfur content), which will result in lower diesel production volumes.
The diesel situation is about to become even more tense.

Oil-exporting countries are secretly shipping fossil fuels through the Strait of Hormuz, which is one of the factors holding back energy price increases, Bloomberg reported.
According to the news agency, oil tankers from the UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait have been passing through the strait with their transponders turned off for several months. Due to the covert nature of these movements, it is difficult to estimate the volume of oil being transported through the strait.
However, Bloomberg emphasized that the movement of such vessels carries the risk of attacks. According to the report, since the start of the conflict, 23 vessels belonging to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company have been attacked, resulting in one death and 20 injuries.

South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff spokesman Jang Do-young said the allies will jointly “assess the country’s military capabilities” during the exercises.
However, on Sunday evening, the U.S. president said he was “not happy” with US participation “based on my very good relationship with Kim Jong Un”. He added that they were costly and “send a signal that is totally inappropriate and hostile, to a country that, as long as Donald J Trump has been president, has been unthreatening and respectful”.
Trump added that it was too late to cancel the drills so he had ordered the defence secretary, Pete Hegseth, to “substantially reduce” them. He also said South Korea had refused to help in the “denuclearisation of the Islamic republic of Iran”.
On August 14, KCNA published a statement from a North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesperson, who described the upcoming Ulchi Freedom Shield exercises as “aggressive.”
