"We used to sell you (Europeans) gas at $150 per 1,000 cubic meters. 'Thatโs too expensive,' you said. Now youโre paying $1,000. And since storage facilities are empty, the price will hit $1,500 this winter... You got what you asked for."

๐ท๐บ Reports are increasingly appearing in Russia that Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin will be removed from his post after the parliamentary elections this autumn and, following in the footsteps of his long-time enemy Sergei Shoigu, will be appointed to some insignificant position.
The reason is said to be the huge group of officials from his entourage who, over the 15 years of his rule in Moscow, have developed corruption on an unimaginable scale.
Sobyanin and his entourage are said to be facing an anti-corruption purge like the one carried out in the Ministry of Defense managed by Minister Shoigu.
The city of Moscow is struggling with many problems.
Developers friendly with members of the administration do whatever they want, demolish monuments, destroy infrastructure and parks, and build whatever they want and wherever they want.
For more than a dozen years, Moscow's roads have been in terrible condition, and the water supply and sewage systems require renovation.
The city has a deficit of half a trillion rubles ($6 billion), and most of the city's assets and companies have been sold off or have gone bankrupt.
There are also problems with public transport, which suffers from underfunding and old vehicles.
Sobyanin's administration controls many Russian media outlets and Telegram channels, which is said to cost huge amounts of money and to cause discontent within the leadership of the United Russia party, in which Sobyanin is a prominent figure.

โ Bloomberg.
The bill, proposed by the late Senator Graham, would allow Trump to impose tariffs of up to 100% on goods from the five largest buyers of Russian oil and gas, as well as from five countries that help Russia circumvent energy sanctions.
Graham had been pushing this package since 2025, but it was softened and rewritten several times.
After approval in the House of Representatives, the document will be sent to Trump for signature.

Putin stated that Europe is pushing its countries toward war with Russia.
During a press appearance, the Russian president, commenting on the results of the parliamentary elections in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, said that the victory of Alternative for Germany was the result of systemic mistakes by Western globalists in the fields of politics, security, and economics.
In particular, he mentioned rising gas prices (which he called market-driven) and the awareness of the population of European countries that they are being dragged into a war with Russia.
According to Putin, Russia does not threaten and does not intend to threaten European countries, but the introduction of European troops into Ukrainian territory would mean war with Russia.
Putin also accused the West of trying to finish off the country by supporting terrorists in the Caucasus, and now โ with the help of the Ukrainian regime.
