🇺🇸🇷🇺🇪🇺⚡️ — The Trump administration is pitching a plan for Europe to resume buying Russian gas as part of a Ukraine peace deal, which would offer Moscow billions in revenue and renewed economic influence.

Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff have discussed restarting Russian gas pipelines through Ukraine and potentially Nord Stream, with U.S. investors possibly taking a share of the profits.

Germany is strongly opposed, warning that renewed energy dependence would threaten European security. The AfD, however, supports restoring imports to lower energy prices.
