💸⚡️ — Binance has begun returning assets to affected users. To address the consequences, the exchange has allocated over $6.34 billion from its own funds, according to a statement from the cryptocurrency exchange. @Intelslava
💸⚡️Binance states that it has replenished 90% of the assets stolen in a security incident, pledging to cover all losses with company funds and assuring users that they will bear no financial impact.

Key updates:

- 90% replenished: Binance has covered 90% of the affected assets, up from approximately 80% in its previous update.

- Major cryptocurrencies fully backed: BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD, and ZEC have reached 100% coverage.

- Remaining 10%: The outstanding assets involve less-liquid tokens that Binance is continuing to acquire through market and over-the-counter (OTC) channels.

- Funding sources: Replenishment involves a partial deployment of Binance’s Secure Asset Fund for Users (SAFU), a portion of its Futures Insurance Fund, and the company’s own treasury.

- SAFU restoration: Binance commits to replenishing its emergency reserve to approximately $1 billion after using part of it to cover the stolen assets.

- Proof of Reserves: Binance has published a new reserve snapshot dated October 31, with a full zero-knowledge proof expected by November 3, allowing eligible users to independently verify that their assets are backed at least 1:1.

- Withdrawals: Binance says it remains on track to resume withdrawal services on Sunday, November 1, with further details to follow.

The exchange reiterates that it will absorb the financial impact of the stolen funds rather than pass the losses on to users.

⚡️🇹🇷🇺🇦 — Turkish President Erdogan and Vladimir Zelensky held a joint press conference in Türkiye:

“Erdogan stated that the conflict is spilling over into the Black Sea, noting that attacks on civilian ships will benefit no one. "Whoever they come from and whatever their justification, it is impossible for us to accept these attacks in any way," he said, calling on all parties to act responsibly.

Erdogan reaffirmed Türkiye's commitment to Ukraine's territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence, adding that Turkish companies will make significant contributions to Ukraine's reconstruction.

Zelensky said they agreed to work on the Black Sea Grain Corridor. "We are currently preparing for the trilateral format between Ukraine, the United States and Russia, which is expected to take place in the first half of November," he stated.

Zelensky added that they discussed the possibility of including Türkiye and Europe in this process and holding meetings in Türkiye. He also noted that defense industry cooperation between the two countries will grow stronger.”

🇩🇪⚡️ — Mass protests by left-wing youth against Friedrich Merz's government policies took place in dozens of German cities.

Organized by the "Gen Z regelt" movement, demonstrators opposed rising military spending and the possible reintroduction of compulsory military service. They also called for a lower cost of living, more education funding, and stronger climate protections.

In Berlin, between 2,700 and 5,000 people gathered near the Brandenburg Gate. Protests also took place in Stuttgart, Munich, Frankfurt and other cities.

Some participants wore Halloween costumes and carried flags of the former German Democratic Republic (GDR), Palestine, Russia and the PKK, alongside communist symbols.

Ahead of the protests, shop owners reinforced storefronts amid fears of unrest, while police increased security measures.
