🇫🇷 The number of protesters yesterday across France is estimated to be between 600,000 and 1.6 million.

Nationwide, 220 demonstrations were announced, and 40,000 to 80,000 people were expected in the streets of Paris. Approximately 16% of teachers went on strike, and education is disrupted at a third of universities. In the town of Tournefeuille, protesters set fire to a school building; the fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported. In Lyon, around 500 rioters smashed the windows of a labor center and clashed with police.

Authorities deployed 70,000 police officers and gendarmes to maintain order.

🇨🇭⚡ A weapons factory in Switzerland that supplied firearms to Ukraine has burned down.

Production and warehouse buildings, the flagship store, and an indoor shooting range in the same complex were damaged.
