Just over half of Germans consider the country's military support for Ukraine appropriate, or think it should even be expanded, but for just over four in ten Germans, that support goes too far. Opposition to sending weapons to Ukraine predominates in eastern Germany and among AfD supporters.

🇩🇪⚡️ — Mercedes has threatened its employees in Germany with factory closure if they do not agree to overtime work and salary reductions. This was reported by the German publication Wirtschaftswoche.

The publication states that the factory's production capacity significantly exceeds demand, employee salaries are too high, they have too many sick days, and too few working days. If these conditions do not change, production in the country will become unprofitable. Currently, negotiations are underway with employees regarding increased workloads, but they are not agreeing.

Previously, the German automotive group Volkswagen announced that it would halve its range of models and lay off tens of thousands of employees.
