The day before, Saudi Arabia significantly intensified its strikes in Yemen. According to the Associated Press, citing a representative of the Saudi-led coalition, Turki al-Maliki, 100 fighter jets participated in the operation against the Houthis in the morning. Meanwhile, AFP, citing a source in the Saudi oil industry, reports that the attack caused serious damage to a pumping station in Khurais, leading to a renewed halt in oil pumping through the East-West pipeline.
