🇶🇦🇮🇱⚡️ — Spokesperson for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs:

We officially deny the claims that we interfered in the elections in Israel and financed activities aimed at influencing their results.

We are being accused of having “bought” Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli left-wing opposition and now also the Arab population.

If all these accusations were true, then essentially we would be the owners of the whole of Israel.

🇩🇪🇱🇹🇧🇾🇷🇺⚡️ — German military personnel will collect data on Belarusian radars and other sources of electronic signals. The data will be added to databases used by the forces of Germany and its allies to detect changes in a timely manner.

The German brigade permanently stationed in Lithuania will use electronic warfare assets for early warning of military activity in Belarus and Russia’s Kaliningrad region. Vice Admiral Thomas Daum, head of the Bundeswehr’s cyber forces, told Reuters about this.

The brigade, which is planned to be fully deployed in 2027, will collect data on Russian and Belarusian military emission sources and radar systems.

“If something happens, these units will detect it,” Daum said.

With regard to Belarus, one of the tasks is to notice the appearance of new radars and transfer this data into shared electronic‑warfare databases.

“We will enter this data into electronic‑warfare databases, which will then alert all our systems if a new radar appears on the Belarusian side,” the vice admiral explained.

The German army is currently testing in Lithuania means of detecting drones, intercepting signals and creating interference. Sensors that transmit data from the battlefield to analysts working remotely are also being tested.

Daum links the need to strengthen these capabilities with Russian activity in Europe.

In his assessment, in some parts of Europe Russia has moved to a second phase, in which the goal is already to cause harm without shifting to armed conflict. At the previous stage, he said, Russian actions were aimed at secretly penetrating Western computer networks and establishing a foothold in them.
“In the cyber‑information sphere there is no war yet, but there is no peace either,” Daum stated.

In August, the German government approved measures intended to give the intelligence services more powers to hack communications and disrupt the operations of foreign adversaries. They still have to be approved by parliament. German officials explain these measures by the growing threat of cyber and hybrid attacks.

Daum acknowledged that in previous decades Germany invested little in new capabilities. “Now… there is a need to improve our capabilities,” he said.

🇺🇸⚡️ — The Pentagon is treating a series of malfunctions in refrigeration equipment that affected stores on several U.S. military bases in August as a possible cyberattack

- four sources familiar with the situation told Reuters.

The Pentagon said that a U.S. Cyber Command unit is “working closely with interagency partners and law enforcement” in the ongoing investigation.

According to Reuters, at least six on-base stores were affected in late August. In one case, the temperature in refrigeration units was raised overnight, causing food to spoil. At Fort Huachuca in Arizona, a notice was published stating that its freezer “went into defrost mode, causing all the food to warm up.”

One of the sources said investigators have contacted their French counterparts regarding a similar attack that occurred earlier this month and affected more than 350 French supermarkets.

🇷🇺⚡️ — Russia is exporting grain through the Arctic port of Murmansk for the first time, attempting to bypass problems with routes through the Black and Baltic Seas.

The first shipment of 3,400 tons is already being loaded, and about another 28,000 tons of wheat are being prepared for shipment to Morocco.

This route was used back in World War II, when the Allies delivered cargoes to the USSR through Murmansk.

Analysts estimate that Murmansk will be able to handle 0.7–1.1 million tons of grain per year, whereas more than 46 million tons were previously exported through the Azov–Black Sea basin. In addition, transporting grain by rail from southern Russia increases costs by 18–25 dollars per ton. Therefore, the new route cannot fully replace the traditional ports.
