France: Hundreds march against health pass mandate and increasing fuel prices in Paris

Hundreds of protesters, including members of the Yellow Vest movement, took to the streets of Paris on Saturday to protest the recent health mandates and against increasing fuel prices.

"The Yellow Vests and the citizens are angry and against the health pass, against the vaccine obligation, against life being too expensive due to the increase of purchasing power. Here, we are overtaxed. Gasoil goes up, electricity and gas [go up], too. They deprive us of our freedoms," said Nejeh Ben Farhat, the main organiser of the march.

Police escorted the march, which reportedly ended without violent escalations.
