در دوازدهم روز اعتراضات در کانادا، رانندگان کامیون علاوه بر اعتصاب در شهر اوتاوا، مرز کوتس (Coutts, Alberta) و دو پل مهم در شهر مرزی ویندزر کانادا با دیترویت آمریکا را با راه بندان بستند.
دو پل مهم «سفیر» و «Blue Water» شاهرگهای حیاتی کانادا هستند.
این دو پل به تنهایی ۲۵ درصد صادرات و واردات کانادا را تامین میکنند و بسته شدن این دو پل روزانه ۴۰۰ میلیون دلار به اقتصاد هر دو کشور ضرر خواهد زد.
تویوتا و فورد، دو کارخانه تولید خودرو در کانادا بدلیل نداشتن قطعات لازم بطور موقتی تولید خود را متوقف کرده اند.

Even before the expected arrival of France's own Freedom Convoy in the capital this Friday, Paris police have said they will clamp down on protesters with jail time, massive fines and driving bans.
Thousands across social media have signaled their intent to converge on Paris, but authorities have preempted a clash with law enforcement - perhaps recalling the ‘yellow vest’ flashpoints of 2018.
Politicians have waded into the issue ahead of the presidential elections in April, with right-wing candidate Marine Le Pen claiming she “understood” the protesters, with even govt spox Gabriel Attal suggesting vaccine pass mandates may be dropped by late March.
