I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Jamshid Gharajedaghi, an exceptional thinker and visionary, and one of the founders of the Iran Industrial Management Institute, an organization that played a significant role in the nation’s remarkable progress as envisioned by the His Majesty The Late Shah of Iran. A graduate of University of California, Berkley, Dr Gharajedaghi returned to the United States after the Islamic revolution of 1979, and continued life as professor at Villanova University, Chief Executive Officer of Interact, and a joint advisor to Nelson Mandela and the President of South Africa during that country’s transitional period to democracy.

Dr. Jamshid Gharajedaghi will always be remembered as a sincere friend and loyal advisor.
