An Iranian hardliner has called for revenge over the death of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to take place "on American soil," as hardline factions continue to lash out over ongoing US-Iran negotiations. The comments came ahead of a new round of talks in Doha involving US envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

The hardliner also demanded that President Donald Trump be extradited to Iran to stand trial. The remarks reflect growing divisions inside Iran, where Iranians hardliners have condemned diplomacy with the United States.
