Forces from the 91st Brigade continue operations to locate weapons in the southern Lebanese security zone.
In recent days, soldiers from the 401st Brigade discovered an underground tunnel and a weapons cache containing rockets and mortars in the Al-Tayri area of southern Lebanon.
In another operation in the Maroun al-Ras area, soldiers from the 679th Reserve Brigade (Yiftach) uncovered additional explosives, weapons, and military equipment.
These weapons were intended for use by Hezbollah terrorists against the Israel Defense Forces.
The Israel Defense Forces will continue to operate to eliminate any threats to its forces and will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm Israeli citizens.
