Not just the right: Opposition lawmaker backs Gaza resettlement

Member of Knesset Debbie Biton of the centrist party Yesh Atid told JNS that she would support Jewish resettlement of the Gaza Strip, in particular the rebuilding of the Katif Bloc of Jewish communities in southern Gaza.

“If those parts of Gaza can be ours, let them be ours. They used to operate as a bloc and that’s okay with me. But if we sign agreements, we need to respect them,” she said.

Trump: We are having very good talks with Iran / Claim of no meeting is false.

The President of the United States stated:

We are having very good talks with Iran. They may not want to admit it, but you know that this is somewhat concerning.
Tell the people that our talks with Iran are going well. But then, one of the Iranian officials comes and says that no meeting has taken place between us; this claim is false. They want to reach an agreement.

Reporter: If Iran retreats again, will that be the end of it?

Trump: Well, if they retreat again, they will be hit with a very, very heavy attack.

Trump: We are having very good talks with Iran. Either the Strait of Hormuz will soon be opened, or Iran will be hit with a very, very heavy blow.

Trump: We will know within the next 48 hours.

Trump on Iran: Today was a very good day. The Iranians don't like to say it. They always want to say that we didn't discuss this. But people understand that this is not right.

They don't like to admit it, but it's annoying. You tell the people we are having fantastic negotiations, and then someone from Iran comes and says, "We haven't had any meetings." That's a lie. They want to reach an agreement.
