Ultimately, we will withdraw from this country, unless we decide to stay and keep its oil. Just like Venezuela.

"Iran will end shortly after the midterm elections, or perhaps even before.
Gas prices will plummet (drop dramatically). I knew what I had to do; I had to do it. Iran cannot have nuclear weapons, and it will not have them."

Katz, Israeli Defense Minister: Anyone who approaches the Al-Tayeb Heights will be destroyed.

The Israeli military withdrew its forces from these heights last week to destroy Hezbollah's underground facilities on Thursday. After the destruction of these facilities, the military announced that it would reorganize its forces in the area, but would continue to maintain control of the heights through surveillance and fire power.

Katz emphasized:

"The Al-Tayeb Heights remain part of Israel's security zone in southern Lebanon, and the Israeli military will not withdraw from this area, nor will it change its deployment, until Hezbollah disarms throughout Lebanon."

American Pilot's Remarkable Feat in Iran

An American fighter pilot who was shot down over Iran during the war spoke to the media this week on the "60 Minutes" program, marking the first time he has spoken publicly since the incident.

According to him, after both crew members ejected from the fighter jet, they were approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) apart when they landed.

The weapons officer said he likely impacted the ground at a speed of close to 160 kilometers per hour (100 miles per hour). He attributed his survival to "a testament to G-d's grace and support in my life."

After regaining consciousness and while severely injured, he moved towards higher ground to increase his chances of survival.

Pilot's Message to U.S. Special Forces:
"I'm injured, I'm moving; G-d is good."

The U.S. Air Force weapons officer, codenamed "Bravo," who was stranded behind enemy lines in Iran for two days after his F-15E fighter jet was shot down in April, explained to 60 Minutes that the phrase "G-d is good" was not just a message for him; it was an acknowledgment of everything G-d had allowed him to experienceโ€”from surviving the impact and the downing of the F-15E, to enduring the violent crash landing at high speed, to the two days of evading those actively searching for him.

In the midst of one of the most difficult moments of his life, only one phrase remained in his mind:

"G-d is good."

Bravo": Two Days in Iran

"Bravo," a U.S. Air Force weapons officer, told 60 Minutes that his biggest fear was letting down the team that had come to rescue him.

He said:

"I knew they were coming. I knew that America, whether it took a day or a year, would keep its promise and come to get me."

Bravo knew that a search team from the Islamic Republic of Iran was looking for him. He was armed, but his entire focus was on survival and staying away from the Iranian forces.

"I didn't let even a sliver of my focus go towards things that were out of my control."

Two days in Iran, wounded and on the run; but with the belief that America would eventually come to rescue him.

The Gripping Story of "Bravo": Two Days on the Run in Iran

After the crash, while injured and with a broken bone, he found himself in a high, dry valley, surrounded by rocks. To increase his chances of survival, despite his injuries, he moved towards higher ground and reached a ridge at an altitude of approximately 7,000 feet (2,133 meters).

Bravo knew that Iranian forces might soon search the area, so he tried to get away from the crash site as quickly as possible and make contact with American forces.

He remained committed to the same principle he had taught his troops during the war:

"Never let a lack of motivation lead you to appear on Iranian television."

The harrowing account of "Bravo": Two days of escape and hiding in Iran.

He said his first priority was to get away from the landing site and find a hiding place.

The ejection seat was damaged, and he had lost his survival kit, which included food, extra water, and medical supplies. He only had his survival vest, which contained a small amount of water, communication and signaling equipment, and a few essential tools.

Bravo tried to treat his external wounds and bleeding as much as possible, but he couldn't do anything about his internal injuries.

He said, "Every opportunity I had, I tried to contact my own forces."

However, making contact was never more important than escaping the forces of the Islamic Republic, staying hidden, and coping with the harsh environmental conditions.
