The deal, which was financed by American aid funds, was signed after negotiations conducted by the procurement delegation of the Ministry of Defense in the United States in cooperation with the Air Force.

The new F15IA aircraft will be equipped with the most advanced weapon systems, including innovative Israeli systems, and will include improvements in flight range and carrying capacity.
