The army has achieved the goals it set out of destroying Hezbollah infrastructure along the border and removing the possibility of a raid into northern Israel by pushing Hezbollah back, while drastically reducing its rocket arsenal, it has told the prime minister, according to the report.

But if the efforts to achieve a ceasefire collapse, says Channel 12, the IDF has plans for an expansion of its operation in Lebanon.

Israel-Lebanon ceasefire will reportedly come into effect by the end of the week.

🔹 Heavy terrorist rocket fire on Israel is expected in the coming days so that Hezbollah can claim "victory" when the ceasefire begins.

🔹 Polls show residents of northern Israel strongly OPPOSE the ceasefire. They want the Hezbollah threat eliminated so they can live in true peace.

🔹 The US has asked Israel to only carry out targeted strikes against Hezbollah leaders in Syria and not in Lebanon after the ceasefire begins.

Hezbollah has never been so weak and vulnerable. A decisive victory over the Iran-backed terror group that seemed impossible two years ago is now quite feasible.

A ceasefire now lets Hezbollah survive and rebuild.

Many Israelis are scratching their heads over this decision.

One Israeli political commenter described the situation thus:

"Israel has beaten Hezbollah to a bloody pulp, and is now ordering an ambulance to take it to a luxury rehabilitation center."
