Urgent: The United States has released the official text of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) reached with Iran over the weekend.
โ Immediate and permanent ceasefire between the United States, Iran, and their allies on all fronts, including Lebanon, with both parties committing to no military action in the future and guaranteeing Lebanon's sovereignty.
โ Mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity and non-interference in each other's internal affairs.
โ A final agreement will be reached within 60 days, with the possibility of extension by mutual consent.
โ The U.S. will immediately and fully lift the naval blockade within 30 days; Iran will gradually resume ship traffic. The U.S. will also withdraw its forces from the region within 30 days after the final agreement.
โ Iran will guarantee free and safe commercial shipping passage between the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman for 60 days, and after mine clearance and removal of obstacles, full passage will resume within 30 days.
โ Iran and Oman will discuss future sovereignty and maritime arrangements of the Strait of Hormuz, in consultation with regional countries and based on international law.
โ The U.S. and regional partners will establish an economic development program worth over $300 billion for Iran, with implementation details agreed upon and all necessary permits issued within 60 days.
โ All Iranian sanctions will be lifted according to an agreed timeline, including UN sanctions, International Atomic Energy Agency sanctions, primary and secondary U.S. sanctions, with sanction removal set as a negotiation priority.
โ Iran emphasizes it will not produce nuclear weapons. Enriched uranium stockpiles will be managed through a mechanism agreed upon by both parties, which at minimum includes on-site dilution under International Atomic Energy Agency supervision. Future enrichment and nuclear needs will be resolved in the final agreement.
โ The status quo will be maintained until the final agreement: Iran will stabilize its current nuclear status, and the U.S. will not impose new sanctions or deploy new regional forces.
โ Immediate U.S. sanction exemptions for Iranian oil, petroleum products, derivatives, and all related banking, insurance, shipping, and commercial services.
โ Iran's blocked assets will be accessible based on agreed procedures, with full use authorized by Iran's Central Bank and supported by all necessary U.S. licenses and permits.
โ A joint mechanism will oversee the implementation and monitoring of this MoU and any future final agreement.
โ Negotiations on the final agreement will begin after key provisions are implemented, and the final agreement will be approved through a binding United Nations Security Council resolution.

Reporter: The first paragraph of the Iran memorandum of understanding states that not only the use of force but even the threat of using force should not exist. However, you said that if Iran does not fulfill its commitments, you will bomb it. Doesn't this count as a threat?
Trump: If they do not fulfill their commitments, is bombing them a threat? Well, call it whatever you want, but it will probably happen.

Israeli Army:
Two terrorists who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 attack, one of whom was also holding hostages during the war, were killed in airstrikes over the weekend.
An attack in southern Gaza on Saturday killed Mohammed Al-Namrouti, the commander of a Hamas squad who, according to the Israeli army, infiltrated Israeli territory on October 7, 2023.
"During the war, Al-Namrouti was involved in holding many hostages in tunnels under Hamas captivity."
Another attack in central Gaza killed Muawiya Al-Eidi, the commander of a squad in Palestinian Islamic Jihad, who the army says attacked Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7.

Trump's deal is a catastrophic capitulation to Iran's aggressors, leaves Israel vulnerable and constrained
In the US president's reality-challenged view, Israel is an ingrate and a warmonger, while Iran's mass-murdering leaders are 'very rational.' They are indeed all too rational, and he, clearly, is not

Iran won the war against the United States and Israel, Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, head of Iranโs negotiating delegation and the country's parliament speaker told state television on Wednesday.
โThe recent war was a war between the front of truth and falsehood,โ Ghalibaf said.
โWe did not allow the United States and Israel to achieve the nine goals they set out from the start of the war,โ he added.
โWhen I talk about negotiation and diplomacy, I mean diplomacy of power,โ Ghalibaf said, adding that he supported negotiations that were themselves โa form of struggle.โ
Ghalibaf said he was the person who distrusted the United States the most and had told US Vice President JD Vance that he had โnot the slightest trustโ in him.
